A Little Dream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last week I purchased a RYOBI 18 Volt Hand Vac and it is a little dream. My grandchildren spill and spread cookie and muffin crumbs all over the back of my car and my daughter's car. The little vacuum is a dream to use and it keeps my car clean as a whistle. I use the RYOBI 18 volt batteries that I bought with my RYOBI lawn mower so all is good. Thank you so much.

Bad accesorios
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last week and used it for the first time yesterday. The vacuum itself is good, no issues but the accessories are bad. They do not fit well, the brush connection leaves an gap and changes the angle of use so it is very uncomfortable.

Not so sure!
Suction power on this seems to be really good. But I think the it needs much better accessories and redesign.
1. The power seems great with a 4ah battery. But also with that powerful suction comes powerful exhaust air. The air that comes out from both sides blows what I am trying to vacuum all over! The exhausts exits both sides and about 90 degrees, and it is a powerful stream of air.
2. The attachments are horrible. Cant really be used properly.
This will be returned.

Works great, but too long to use easily for the car
I ordered this hand held vacuum thinking it would be great for vacuuming the car. It does work really well, with plenty of suction, but It is over 2 feet in length, so rather hard to maneuver in the car. However, since I already have several of the 18 volt batteries and chargers, I'm still happy enough with the vacuum, as I have other places I can use it for quick spot cleaning. In the one picture, if you look at the difference in the amount of hair on the right side of the picture compared to the left, you'll see that it does quickly and easily do small areas. I have 3 dogs, two are large. The Lab likes to sleep in his crate when he's in the house. The crate sits on one end of my oriental rug, and there is always a bunch of hair that accumulates quickly along the edge of the rug. This is easier than dragging out my big vacuum, for sure. It will hold quite a bit of hair and it is easy to empty and clean the filter.

Ryobi One Model PCL704 18 Volt Handheld Vacuum Works Great and is compact and light weight easy to use. Very easy to empty and clean the dual filter design helps with the small particles and filter is replaceable when needed {part number 019183001012} This comes with a crevice tool so you can reach into some small areas like the seat track in your vehicle or use the dust brush on your sofa, drapes etc. The dust bowl has a flapper valve so when you shut off and pick up the vacuum the debris stays in. This works saves me time and effort when cleaning my vehicles, hobby table in my shop etc or on the job for a quick and easy clean up. Being part of the 18-volt system you can use your batteries that you have plus this has a 3-year warranty. Make sure you read the operators manual. Get this and other great Ryobi products at Home Depot This Works for Me.

Difficult to Clean
RYOBI ONE+ 18V Cordless Performance Hand Vacuum (Tool Only)
Has good suction and comes with 2 nice attachments. It does pick up well for cleaning sawdust or wood shavings. My big issue is cleaning the filters. I like to keep a clean vacuum and dirt and dust are very difficult to clean out from around the intake part of the machine. The filters you can knock off a bit of the dust although you will need to have an air hose to properly keep them clean. I did use this for picking up dog hair on furniture. For a quick dry vac this works ok. Do not try to use it on moist or wet material.

Best cordless vacuum we've owned!
We've been through a lot of cordless hand vacuums over the year and this one is the best, by far! We love the Ryobi One+ 18V line of products, so we decided to give this hand vacuum a try. It is very solid, not too heavy and has great suction. The included attachments are very sturdy, not flimsy and floppy like we usually get with cordless vacuums. This vacuum has nice solid suction and is built so that it doesn't just dump the debris back out if you're not careful with it. This holds a good amount of debris, so you're not constantly dumping it out and the filter is nicely designed and does a good job.

Handy & convenient
Well made, durable and a lighter weight make this a very convenient and easy to use portable hand vac. This vacuum has a good length of run time and picks up loose pieces nicely but the suction power could be better. I love that the end brush can swivel 360 degrees and that you can easily see how full the canister is. No cord allows you great freedom, just pick up and use. I find the overall weight with the battery not to be any problem. Not great at getting into very tight spaces. A great addition to my many Ryobi line of tools for my small shop.

Great suction
Because I have a husband and animals, I am always cleaning up messes. Even though I have a cordless vacuum, I don't always want to take it out so I got the RYOBI ONE+ 18V Cordless Performance Hand Vacuum (Tool Only) to make cleaning up faster and easier. The vacuum is very powerful, has great suction and comes with three attachments, one of them an adapter for the other two. Not sure why they didn't make the opening a tad larger to alleviate the adapter which makes the brush and extender stick up at a bit of a weird angle. It comes apart easily to empty. Just make sure the notches are top and bottom to fit it back together after emptying. It did not come with a battery or charger but since we have other Ryobi tools we bought a set which can be used with many other Ryobi products and came with a free tool of our choice. A win win situation.
