Nice extra kit for my Ryobi rotary tool
I have the Ryobi battery-powered rotary tool but it needed an extra add-on kit for sanding and grinding. Adds a nice selection of sanding and grinding bits. The case is good quality, snaps at the top. Inside is 2 rows of sanding tubes in 60 and 120 grit. Another row of bits for sanding and grinding. There's an onboard storage compartment for extra sanding tubes.

Great accessory kit for all your sanding & grinding needs!
Here is my review on my new RYOBI 27-Piece Sanding and Grinding Kit. This Ryobi sanding and grinding assortment is my go-to kit for all my home and hobby needs. It has anything and everything you need for any small sanding and grinding project! And the folding/stand-up case it comes in, is a nice plus! This kit uses interchangeable bit bars. The bit bars are interchangeable with drill drive cases as the RYOBI LINK Storage System. The only negative issue I found was that you really can't store the drum sander mandrel in the rack with a sanding band installed on it. The 1/2" sanding drum mandrel is my favorite accessory. I use it all the time. The kit comes with 8-60 grit, 6-120 grit and 6-240 grit sanding bands. The stone grinders are also remarkably high quality, and you get 5 assorted styles. (1) Grinding Stone 5/32", (1) Arch Shaped Grinding Stone 3/8", (1) Pointed Cone Shaped Grinding Stone 1/4", and (1) Cone Silicon Carbide Grinding Stone 3/16". A wrench is also included with the kit. Whether you are just starting your rotary tool collection or replacing or adding accessories, you can't go wrong with this 27-piece sanding and grinding kit from RYOBI.

extra storage
This is a great addition for storage of my sanding bands and comes with three different grits 60,120, and 240. They have labeled the 60 and 120 grit on the bars to hold the sanding bands and a storage area for 240 grit and extra bands. I use the grinding stones up quickly but these will hold more mandrels and drill bits. If you have a problem removing the grinding stones you can just put your thumbs on each side and pull it open a bit and the entire bar will come out. It also includes a wrench.

Organized All-Purpose Kit ready to work
I like the way the kit is organized and molded just right for each piece or pieces. The case to carry them has a plastic molded clipped down cover, the flat sanding papers has clips to hold them in place, as does the round bands with a center that allows you to take them out and put them back in securely, so they don’t move around or get lost. The mandrels and polishing stones have holes to insert them into. The paste and wrench etc. have its own little fold out drawers to secure them.
Out of the 120-piece kit, most if not all of it is for sanding and/or polishing. I noticed that the web page description doesn’t list for you what all is in the kit, so I would like share what it includes.

The quality and innovation I have come to expect from Ryobi
This is a great kit. Let's start with the great variety of tips and bits that it has. There are grinders, cutters, sanders, and polishers. They are the quality we have come to expect from Ryobi. More than just the tips and bits there is the innovation and thought that went into the case itself. The bits are held in with latching caps or rod locks. The bottom has two compartments that rotate out to make them easier to open and access the parts in side. The case can easily be hung on a wall or placed in a drawer. Finally, every lid and latch locks in place so if you accidently drop it you are not playing 120 piece pickup. I love this kit and would recommend it without reservation.

Limited All-Purpose kit.
I was a little disappointed in the Ryobi Rotary Tool 120-Piece All-Purpose Kit as it contains multiple sanding and grinding tools but really did not have much in the way of cutting tools other than the traditional cutting wheels. This kit does have multiple sanders in two sizes and has plenty of cutting wheels which are very necessary as they break easily when cutting metal.

Good if you do mostly finish work
This kit focuses on sanding and finishing with tons of paper cutting wheels, sanding drums and a few pumice and polishing bits. If you go through those type bits like crazy, then this kit is for you. I tend to do more heavy-duty cutting and rasping in wood and metal. This kit lacks the metal pieces I prefer. There are no diamond cutting wheels, large rasps, or wire brushes, so not a comprehensive assortment, rather it’s a specialty kit. It comes with the wrench (the more the better!), and works fine with my Gyros brand tool.
The hinged plastic case has stationary shelves with belt-clip closures. The belts that go through the drums work well. The belts that just sit over the wheel stacks allow all the wheels to fall out once the stack is not full, and they fall behind the shelves where they are very difficult to reach to pull out. The wheel holders should have a center pin on which to drop the wheels so they can’t fall out. The bottom drawers rotate down to easily open them. Wish the top had a hand hole to carry it but it does have holes to hang it on the wall.

Lots of bits
The twist lock is more like a screw lock. I was hoping for something more like the twist and spring lock of other kits. The kit includes a ton of sanding wheel pads, but most are tossed together in one big unlabeled pocket, unlike the main compartment which has them all labelled individually. The whole kit has a bunch of different style sanding and buffing bits and works great for the odd job around the house or craft table. I've used this for sharpening a mower blade, sanding a window sill, polishing some small resin pieces. This kit should last me a long time.

Handy little kit
This RYOBI Sanding & Grinding Kit is mostly miniature sanding cylinders in two grits – 60 grit and 120 grit – that fit small drills which take the approx. 1/8-inch shank. In addition to those sanding cylinders, there are five miniature grinding stones: three cone tapers and two grinding cylinders. All twenty-seven items are in a convenient 2 x 4 x 7 hinged-lid box, in the typical and easily recognizable Ryobi Yellow color. The case has a hanging tab on top to store it in your workshop.

Great accessory!
Great addition for my rotary tool set. Has most of the go to items that any hobbyist needs. The storage case is great, it's made for stand alone use or mounted on the wall of your crafting area. The only real problem that I have with it is the fact that it was shipped to me with just a label stuck on the packaging. The factory seal was missing and the parts where mixed up a little. Overall still a good product to have.
