The factory probably tightened the fastener with a power tool, so penetrating oil may be your friend.

Like any high speed tools. I would strongly suggest a pre inspection. Make sure everything is tight. As to purchasing separately just match up the bearing at local hardware or auto parts store.

I could not find any. This is a terrible bit set. I used one size one time on a very small project and burned up the bearings. Could not return it fast enough.

I do not believe so. I have a hand-held router (Ryobi) and a Dremel - but not a Dremel trio - so I am not sure whether the bits/shank would fit? Sorry!

Not familiar with a dremel trio. These router bits are designed for a regular size router. The shank is too big for a Dremel motor.

I have not tried with these bits. But high speed routering of plastic panels can generate enough heat to melt the cut edge. I suggest cutting a test piece.

I used them on a reasonably amount of oak, and had no problems.

I have used these on hardwoods including Hard and Soft Maple, Hickory, White Oak, Walnut, Andiroba, purpleheart, etc. It has worked well - but with the harder woods, you'll see decreased life in the sharpness of the blade, especially with woods like Hickory. I got this set when I first started woodworking. If you plan on using these for a lot of linear feet of wood then you may need to go with a longer lasting bit that's a bit more money, in my opinion

Hey Jeff, Sorry about your issue, I have been using mine for several years and no problems with bearings, they do seem to dull faster then a high dollar set! You get what you pay for! Happy holidays bro.

Honestly the tool should last quite a bit longer than what you have described. Go at it slow, make small cuts until you get to the desired profile you want to achieve. Tthe bearings are sealed - adding oil might ruin your work piece.
