Yes. I have several that I leave above ground. In winter they get disconnected and come inside.
The flow range is 0.2 GPM to 22 GPM for this 3/4" inline valve. Hope this helps!
The measurement is 4.5 inches from the inlet to the outlet. Hope this helps!
Not sure I understand the question, please call 1-800-Rain-Bird to speak to a customer service rep. They will help with any issues you have on the product. Thanks.
The model number for the diaphragm kit is DRKCP/CPF. The life of the diaphragm depends on many things, usage, water conditions, etc... , however, it is not uncommon to experience 10-20 years of operation. Hope this helps!

It is 24 volt, best to set up with a irrigation timer.
24 V DC
Yes you can open and close the valve manually. Very easy. Instructions that come with the valve are very thorough and tell you exactly how to manually control the valve.
I'd just buy another valve that is designed to work on vertical pipes, as you'd really want to keep the solenoid in an upright position.
