Wanted to hang a banner on a store. Used the lowest powder charge i could find. Disintegrated brick, had to eventually drill with masonry bit to install anchors. But still like the gun. Tim Allen style more power the better.

Love the silencer, over the one I had rented. Also appreciate the variable depth setting, which when combined with different colored shells give a much wider variety of strike pressure. Needed the .27 caliber for my hard concrete floor! Definitely worth the price over renting and the per nail/shell price they charge...even for one project!

I tried several DeWalt drivers but they were hard to operate and the last one fell apart. It was a lot more expensive but the Ramset gun fired every time. I am very happy with it

The old ‘shotgun’ still the best way to connect certain things to concrete.
With all the battery and gas powered options, I didn’t think I’d still need one.
This gun if much improved from the Ramset guns of old…it is about 50% silenced and has a power selector to change strength, every contractor needs one in the van!

I am extremely disappointed with this Ramset Cobra+ 0.27 caliber...
I am extremely disappointed with this Ramset Cobra+ 0.27 caliber tool. This is perhaps the worst tool I have ever owned. While attaching the bottom plate of a long wall this Ramset started misfiring and not shooting the nails down completely as it had done properly at the beginning of the wall. Nails bent back under the wall and chipped out the concrete floor, a problem that wasn't evident until it had shot more than a dozen nails incorrectly. The entire wall had to be removed by cutting the heads off these nails half driven by the Ramset. The wall had to pried up and the mess of chipped up concrete had to be fixed then the wall reattached to the concrete by another method. I would never purchase ANY Ramset product again.
