The RHDZ-18-2X9WM is sold with (2) 9000 BTU wall mount indoor units. The 18000 BTU outdoor unit can handle up to 2 indoor units total, depending on type and capacity, which do not need to all be installed at once. Do any ramsond mini splits have wifi temp control?
Yes they do on the multi zone units, it is an additional cost of $60.00 per indoor unit and can be purchased separately. Ramsond
The Ramson website says that you do not need to vacuum the linesets, but the instruction do. Do the linesets have to be vacuumed prior to use?

Thank you for your interest, we have thoroughly reviewed our website to find where we say (do not need to vacuum) and have not been able to locate. We have 2 reccomendations when it comes to the final steps of installing our units, 1 we recommend to vacuum the system, that way to ensure all air is out of the system and also check for any leaks at the same time by holding a vacuum. 2nd is to purge the system if you do not have means to a vacuum pump, purging instructions are listed on our website under the customer service tab. Yes, you will be able to climate control 2 different rooms at the same time set to different temperatures, though due to fundamental design both units must be running in the same MODE (e.g. both heating OR cooling, not one heat & one cool).
I have 2areas that are 1000 sf each. i am thinking i need 2 complete sets...1 ouside unit with 2 modules,?
You can go with 1 outdoor unit and 2 indoor units. For 1000 sqft each you would require a 48,000 Btu outdoor with (2) 24,000 Btu indoor units to handle 2000 sqft total. Ramsond
Can I choose to cut the copper line sets to the length I need, flare the ends, and connect without having to worry about having too much refrigerant in the system? One of the lines will be approximately 15 ft, and the other less than 10 ft. Also, I preinstalled the wiring in preparation for a mini split - will 12 AWG wire with 20 AMP breaker be sufficient for this unit?
Thank you for your interest with Ramsond. You can shorten the lines to 10 and 15 feet and the system will still perform properly, and yes you will have to re-flare the cut lines. Wiring with 12 gauge wire and using a 20 amp breaker is proper for this unit. Ramsond
