2-Person 3-Day Deluxe Emergency Kit with Backpack is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 68.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basic starter kit This kit can get you through 72 hours and is good to give you a basic idea of some of the things that you would need. After repacking the bag I still had lots of space to add other items that I would need but that is just my choice. The radio/flashlight impressed me for the fact that a week earlier I just cranked it for a min and a week later I turned it on and still had radio. The water packets are good and take up less space but I would work on your own 1st aid kit plus toss in some power bars. I bought two of these one for the wife's car and one for our shelter and it's a good deal to learn on if you are just starting out making one of these kits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Kit I have a pretty good emergency kit I have cobbled together over the years. I'm big into emergency preparedness (NOT doomsday prepper type, but reasonable expectation type), and have some storage and rotate my supplies regularly. When this kit came up on sale, I was prompted to buy it to share some of the items between my other kit, and I have to say, it's worth the price even if it weren't on sale. In fact I wish I had bought two. I especially like the water pouches. They are sturdy and take little space. They aren't bulky like a bottle, and have a good shelf life. The emergency rations really are just for a dire emergency, but food is food when you're in a disaster. You can always buy some MREs to supplement your stash. I will be adding a chemical stove like I have in my other kits. The combo flashlight /radio is a great addition that also will give an emergency charge for your cell phone. It's definitely worthwhile to get this. The only negative I can think of is the first aid kit is fairly anemic. In an emergency you're going to need more than a few bandaids and antibiotic ointment. Other than that, I don't think you could go wrong with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in-car emergency pack We have made the decision to include a 2-person emergency pack in each of our vehicles as well as at home. This unit is ideal for placement in the trunk for use in the event of an emergency. Were thrilled when this unit was offered on a 1-day sale at 50% OFF!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great kit, add a couple of items and it is even better I've got several preparedness items and this adds to them nicely. I added 2 pairs of leather gloves, a bic lighter, fire cubes, and a headlamp and batteries (all fit with room to spare). Bought several kits and gave one to my family. Check your inventory, I had some missing items and emailed the company directly with photos of the kits. Missing items sent to me in a couple of days. Nice peace of mind item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyone needs to be prepared to be Self-sustainable in an emergency for 72 hours This product has everything recommended to sustain onself for 72 hours. It is one of the best commercially made survival packs that I have ever found. If you are using it for one person it will sustain you for 144 hours. It is a 2 person kit and includes the bare necessities and you can add to it if you want something more than what is included. I am extremely happy to say this had to be one of the best I have yet to find.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better quality than expected. In going through items in the bag, I found them to be of higher quality than I expected and all the items would be very much needed in the case of an emergency. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, basic survival kit I was trained in survival by the army and I got stuck in a snowdrift in Oregon's costal range in 93. I've always carried basic survival equipment in my car. This is a good, basic survival kit for two people that you can carry in the car. (It's in my Honda.) You could spend a couple of days in the snow, or the desert, with this kit. It's in a basic rucksack, so you could walk for help, although it's better to stay with you car, wrecked aircraft etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Added a few things to the pack, but, nice to be emergency ready. Have seen similar products costing much more with fewer items. This was a good deal and am considering buying one for my other vehicles and just leaving them in the trunk. Had this one with me in on a cross country 4000 mile trip which started long before the tornadoes and was passing through Oklahoma City/Joplin Missouri during the preliminary storms the day the first ones hit, but, didn't need to use it. Just a security blanket.
