Can this be used on a wood deck that already has been stained previously? Can I just apply this new stain on top?
Ready Seal should never be applied on top of any other type of stain.
Does this need to be shaken or stirred before use?
Stirring fully is recommended, to achieve maximum suspension and tonal consistency.
The moisture level requirement of 12% seems impossible to achieve. My decks were installed almost a year ago and the moisture meter is reading 20%-21%. Even my old wood structures are at 15%. Is it possible that I can’t use this product?
12% Moisture content applies only to the surface layer and slightly below the surface layer of your wood. This level of dryness can be achieved in all regions of the United States.
Would this stain work on cedar planters?

When I try to do 5 gallons it changes to mahogany 530. Is this the same color exactly and just mean 5 gallons of 30?
