About This Product

Real-Kill Glue Traps provide an easy way to handle your rodent problems. Non-toxic and disposable, these ready-to-use traps capture mice and household pests where they live and travel. They work best when placed in areas of known pest activity. Once the targeted pests are stuck to the board, simply dispose of the entire trap. Real-Kill Glue Traps contain no toxic chemicals or poisons. These sticky traps also capture insects in the home. Carefully separate Real-Kill Glue Traps. Place glue side up on floors along walls lengthwise or where pests have been seen or suspected. If no pests are caught in 2 to 3 days, move the trap to a new location. For best results, use more than one trap at a time. Dispose of the glue trap after use - don't attempt to remove pests and reuse. Discard only dead mice with trap. Read the entire label before using. This package contains 4 glue traps. This is not an instant-kill trap - animal may still be alive when trap is checked. Please humanely euthanize the animal before disposing of the trap. Do not place the trap where birds and nontarget animals may come into contact.

Why do you sell/buy these? Do you like to see animals suffer?

    Answer This Question

Don’t like them to suffer but, mice cost me $600 in lawnmower repairs. So if it’s them or another $600 they gotta go

    By|Apr 23, 2026

No, I don't, but there's no way to keep mice out of the attic. Once they're in they find their way down the walls and into the house. I find the traps revolting but I find mice droppings more revolting. I can't afford an exterminator.

Thank you for your question. The traps measure about 4.75" X 3.5"

            By|Mar 19, 2021

The mouse traps measure approx 4.75" X 3.5" and there are 4 in each box. The larger traps (for rats) measure approx 9.5" X 4.5" and there are 4 in each box.

I always put it on top of a larger piece of news paper or card board for that reason.

                By|Dec 19, 2024

Remove as much as you can from the floor with a scraping tool. Once you've gotten as much as possible off, then pour some mineral oil, baby oil or vegetable oil on it. Let it sit there for a minute or two and then wipe up using paper towels. Keep using the oil and the towels until it's all gone. You can also use Goo-gone (same method) but the other oils are cheaper. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. We have found that you can remove the glue by using vegetable oil or mineral oil. We recommend to spot test a small area to be sure the oil doesn't cause any staining to your floor.

No they do not. Also they are worthless in holding any rodent once a rodent shows up

                        By|Nov 6, 2022

No, these do not include an attractant.

                          By|Jan 28, 2019

No they do not. You can add something to the real to attract them to the area or place along baseboards you may have seen the mice travel.

                          By|Jan 28, 2019

No. You will need to put some bait in the middle of the trap - just a little bit so they have to step on the glue to reach the seed or whatever.

No they don't . If they did, the rodent would eat it, leave a 15% tip ,then leave. Patrick

                                    By|May 4, 2023

No, squirrels would be WAY too big. It would make them miserable though as they'd have the trap stuck to them for quite a long time.

Didn't work at 1st but...set two traps...one disappeared from where I put it with bait/food...the other was flipped upside down with a dryer sheet (I also put out which didn't work) stuck to part of it...I left that one out and thought I still need to figure out another solution...I was worried the 1st one was going ro be stuck somewhere with or without the mouse and if so would start smell when it eventually died off...well in this morning found it stuck on that 2nd one that was partially covered...it's hind legs were stuck to it and it was trying to pull itself off it...was able to whack it stuck to the trap and was also able to find the 1st trap under passenger seat where it was trying to run to...hope it was only that one...would recommend product but maybe attach it to something when setting like a piece of thin wood for a little bit of weight/support...

I placed it right in the middle and pressed down to make sure it stuck (if it didn’t I glued it with a glue gun) and caught one every time I used it...I even caught two on one trap!!

Follow up review + my technique
Hasn’t worked initially as I was getting only footprints but within two days I was able to catch three mice (2 small and one large) What has worked for me was placing tiny bit of food in the middle to where the mice had to use force to remove it thus causing them to fully get stuck. If placed with no hard food the mice only put their front feet to smell the glue and then run away. Food I used was little fish food pebbles that the mice were always after (biting holes in the big plastic bag) so that made them fully get into the trap and eventually once their four feet hit the glue it trapped them instantly to the point where even the whole lower body got stuck due to them trying to push themselves out. I suggest using hard food so that the mice have to use force to remove it, unlike peanut butter which they can eat whilst not fully being in the trap. It works great!

I use these type of traps (glue traps) around my garage doors and they have been very effective. I learned this trick from a friend who was an exterminator, place one trap on each side of the garage door right at the corner where the door track meets the floor. I have significantly cut down the number of bugs in the garage by doing this consistently. This is the first time I have used this particular brand so I will check back if it does not work like the previous ones.

A mouse was obviously walking on these things but did not get caught - the raised edges probably had enough leverage for it to pull free. Zero mice caught on these.

                                                        Totally Useless!!! Traps the footprint
does not work for Rats....I bought the larger version that clearly says will trap Mouse and Rat...Only thing it shows is the footprint..
