10.1 oz. Blacktop Driveway Repair Caulk

Do not use this water based Red Devil Blacktop Driveway Repair Caulk to fill cracks in a black asphalt driveway, especially if there is any chance of rain within three days. My driveway looks even worse now than it did before the application. The white grit from the product, which the rain had washed out from every crack, has tarnished the surface of our driveway. This sandy stuff is stuck hard and cannot be swept off. It took me two hours of scrubbing with a stiff brush and lacquer thinner (two cans) to darken the chalky mess so that it is not so unsightly.

Worked just as advertised. Easy to apply, easy clan-up, and great results so far! Had a crack less than 3-ft. long and approx. 1/8" wide along the edge of my driveway - not too big but wanted to take care of it before the freeze/thaw cycle this winter made it worse. A local company quoted me $60 to "fix" it; another wouldn't even bother to give a price for such a small job. So for a little over $5.00, I took care of it myself and feel confident this repair will hold up just fine. Once applied, I just used my index finger to smooth out the bead and work it into the crack. The material set-up nicely, but I did keep it covered with a folded tarp for a couple days to make sure it stayed dry. I would definitely use this product again!

An easy and effective way to fill the holes in in my blacktop driveway.

Good product. It would be easier to apply is the viscosity was a bit lower. My final opinion can not be made until a year form now, after the sealant has made it through four seasons.
