Improve the comfort of your garage space by making it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Our super high-performance radiant barrier makes installation a breeze. With 2 feet x 40 feet of material, you'll have your one-car garage much more comfortable in an hour or less. Kit includes 1 roll (2' x 40') of high-performance radiant barrier, 50 pcs (1" x 2") double-sided sticky tabs, and 1 roll (2" x 15 feet) of aluminum foil sticky tape. Our radiant barrier was sourced to provide the maximum performance in radiant barrier technology in 2024. Simple design and performance allows for a very cost effective yet simple solution to creating a comfortable garage space. Heat dissipation works well in conjunction with Remington Solar attic fans.

What does this product weigh
is it mold resistant

Can I run the foil across the door leaving a gap instead of sticking to the panel as you show? Would my way not create a higher R value?

What is the R value? Will this completely cove a single garage door
That’s a great question. For Radiant Barrier type products there is not a thermal rating like R-value. Radiant Barrier blocks radiant heat from the sun and the calculations you wanna make are based on emissivity. These Radiant Barrier products will block 95% of the radiant heat. On Home Depot there is a product for a one car garage and a two car garage. Those are two different SKUs
If I’m also using foam board for more insulation for the winter, should I put the foam board on after installing this?
You certainly can and not a bad idea. This Radiant Barrier will simply keep out radiant heat and does have some insulation properties if that’s also what you’re looking for. However, if you can get foam board on there as well, it will give you that much more insulation power for the winter.
is this product used in conjunction with another product to increase the R-Value? Is it safe to do so?
Great question. This product is designed to insulate the garage, but from a winterizing standpoint, the R-value for the product itself is relatively low, but against the garage door with an air gap it’s increases the R-value. But you can use another product with it if you wish. However, the primary benefit is the super high reflectivity to repel heat from the garage area. The Radiant Barrier does a fantastic job of that. But it also insulates for cold as well. I hope that helps.
