The lugs are tinned so they look aluminium. Nice thick solid wire, should be more than enough for rated applications.

This is an excellent cable for applications requiring the connection of multiple batteries, such as motorhomes. The cable, covered with a thick vinyl covering and incorporating crimped connectors on each end make the use of this cable easy, fitting most any application. I used it to add an additional battery to my motorhome, providing more power when camping in an area that does not have shore power.

Excellent quality, neatly soldered and shrink tubing installed over the terminal sleeves for a lower risk of cross contact. I plan to use it for an additional engine to chassis ground connection on my Italian sports car. Other uses could entail interconnections between batteries on golf carts and other electric vehicles. Also excellent to use as cable connections between inverters, regulators,and switches on solar system equipment.
