  • Q2: Will the battery come with the terminals? And if not, what's the size of the connector terminals? A2: Yes, it comes with two screw terminals. The size is M8 x 1.25 x 16 mm.
  • Q3: Can this be used as a chassis battery to crank my diesel pusher? A3: We do not recommend using a deep cycle battery for a starter battery. We recommend you use a specific starter CCA battery.
  • Q4: What is the difference between Hybrid and Pure GEL batteries? Can I use this Hybrid GEL battery with a Pure GEL battery together? A4: The differences between Hybrid and Pure GEL batteries are their electrolyte materials and sealing construction. Renogy Deep Cycle Hybrid GEL Batteries are made of proprietary plate composition, patented gel electrolyte, and improved 6-layer sealing structure to ensure excellent performance. We recommend only using consistent battery types. DO NOT mix Hybrid GEL and Pure GEL batteries together as it will reduce overall performance and may cause damage to the battery bank.
  • Q5: How to properly store the Gel battery? A5: Store it in a dry and cool (-4℉~140℉ / -20℃~60℃ ) place. Make sure that it is 100% charged before storing it, and recharge after three months.
  • Q6: How can I fix this GEL battery if I over discharged it? A6: It can be restored to normal voltage and continues to operate normally through low-current charging. Please note that frequent over-discharge may cause irreversible damage to the battery's life. To avoid cycle-life shortening, we recommend not discharging the battery below 50%.
  • Q7: What is the maximum charge current? Optimal charge current? A7: The max charge current for this battery is 60A. The optimal charge current should be based on whatever the charge controller will give it as the optimal charges based on the current level of the battery. An intelligent battery charger or solar charger will take care of the optimal charge for the battery.

              Received 2 batteries in good condition. Have been operational now for 3 wks and provide sufficient power on my 520 watt offgrid system. I run a 3.5 cu. ft. Freezer, 3 amps starting, 0.75 amps running. Shop lights total 100 watts, radio, ceiling fan and upto 4.5 amp hand tools.

              I'm liking them
              So far they are great! I haven't put them under load yet but seem solid. Came very protected (box with Styrofoam inside a box with Styrofoam). They were fully charged upon arrival and had zero dings, marks, scratches, or any sign of damage. I'm using in a 24v backup system with solar. They are HEAVY (130lbs) and just a touch more than double the volume of a size 31 battery. They are shorter so they do have a big footprint. Handles were easily removed once they were in place so they have a clean look. Sitting here hoping the power goes out so I can play now...

              Great battery
              Bought this battery to replace my 5th wheel house batteries. Trailer is parked on mountain property where temperature varies -10 to 100+ works exactly as advertised. Will be buying more to expand capacity soon. Highly recommend this battery much better than acid filled batteries for temperature swings

                    Bought 6 and one is BAD
                    I purchased 12 Renogy solar panels and 6 of these batteries. Experienced issues with my system. I broke everything down to the simplest configuration and isolated one of my batteries as defective. By defective I mean my circuits breaker fails if this battery is introduced into my storage system. I expect customer support will help?
