It is measured from the floor to the very top of the 3/4" NPT hot and cold-water inlet/outlet nipples protruding out of the top of the tank. Is it difficult to remove and replace the anode rod in this 40 gallon model? We have a deep well, and have very hard water. Our current hot water heater, it’s impossible to get the rod out of the tank! it’s not a Rheem. Thank you for your help!
