This part is the exact same water heater element that was replace less than a year ago.
We installed this one ourselves a couple of weeks ago. It works great so far!
I hope this one lasts longer than the original one. It was good for about 5 years. We had a plumbing/heating guy replace it for us last time which cost over $300.
This time we were told by them to order it and give them a call when it came in. We installed it ourselves.

JUST INSTALLED Upper and Lower
I bought the upper and lower element as well as the install tool. Came nicely packaged in a short amount of timer. I bought. them to replace elements that were still working but 8 years old and just wanted to get ahead of an issues. I waited a few months until I had the time. They installed relatively easily and I am glad I replaced the old elements as the lower one was significantly encrusted. Hopefully these new elements they will last a long time.
