My house was without hot water for two weeks because you could not stock this item, yet you have not trouble stocking the water heater that uses this kit. This is a disgrace that Home Depot does not care about the residential customers and stock repair parts that are commonly used. Especially after putting the local hardware stores out of business. Last water heater I buy from Home Depot.

Great tune up kit.
Better than the original setup. Extra screws and parts came in handy. One of the old screws was stripped so the the new screw-hole-clips were also used. Replacement gaskets fit perfectly and all of the old ones were worn extensively. I recommend using this complete kit instead of only replacing a bad thermocouple. One tip from me is the new mounting bracket uses 2 hex nut screws (included) and the old one used only one. The new screws got tight quick and I was afraid there was a problem but drove them all the way in with hard pressure and they held tight. The instructions were a bit vague for this part.

After 10-years without issues, our Rheem Ultra Low NOx Fury...
After 10-years without issues, our Rheem Ultra Low NOx Fury water heater (Model Number 22VR50FN) stopped providing hot water. After some online research and a couple of calls direct to Rheem, I verified this is the part I needed to replace. Initially, I thought I could just replace the thermocouple; however, they advised against this plan and I trusted their judgement. I am quite handy; but, I admit this was a major undertaking. You're also dealing with natural gas so you have to be extra careful. I had SoCalGas come out to verify there were no gas leaks and turn the pilot back on again. Everything works! Hopefully, we'll get another 5-years out of this Rheem water heater - it's a very good unit. Much to my surprise, Home Depot had the best price for this part and their service level is always high.

Everything was great EXCEPT it took 10 days for parts to arrive. Long time with no hot water.Strongly suggest these parts be distributed to dealers to have in stock.

It was the wrong part. There was no specific brand/model...
It was the wrong part. There was no specific brand/model compatibility information, so I had to rely on review comments from customers. One comment suggested the part would work for my model. But it was wrong. The manufacturer sent me the correct part, and it was under warranty. Home Depot needs a right-fit feature. The manufacturer asked me for the model and serial number for the correct fit.
