Poor Quality Control at Factory
Bought this yesterday and installed today. Replaced a 16 yo 50 gal Rheem. Install was easy and direct hookup. Only issue was a small leak coming from the Temp Pressure Relief Valve where it screws into tank. With all fairness, I did speak with a Rheem Rep, who asked me to try and tighten valve in attempt to fix leak. It was unsuccessful. Rep indicated she would mail me a new pressure valve and to use Teflon tape when installing.
Partially drained the tank and removed the valve. Very little pipe dope on threads. Cleaned threads and applied Teflon tape. Reinstalled, refilled with water and problem solved.

Easy Replacement Manufactured home
Great replacement for a 33 YEAR OLD water heater DUAL ELEMENTS a plus old one only had one. It usues less electricity than old one. Rhem a great product !!

This product works well, and we liked the factory pre-sets. It was exactly what I needed for my situation (15 year old manufactured home), and the installation was fairly easy. My only suggestion for the manufacturer would be to raise the height of the cold water inlet connector and the drain valve by an inch or two - this would make them easily clear the top of the drain pan.

It has been installed for a month now and is working great!! This was replacing a older Rheem 40 gal. in my mobile home and it was a inch or so larger in diameter than the old one, so it just fit thru the opening and the connections were exactly the same. I don't know why they show the pressure relief on the top and the side? There's only one and its on the side. I also converted from polybutylene to Pex using all SharkBite fittings and the stainless steel line connection kit all purchased from Lowes. Just be sure you measure to make it will fit before you buy it !!!! Nobody likes those Aww S#&T moments. Also it came in about a week early.
