Rheem's Prestige High Efficiency Natural Gas Combi Boiler provides an efficient, continuous supply of domestic hot water used for faucets, showers, washing machines, etc.) and provides hydronic space heating for residential applications such radiant floors, baseboards, hydronic air handlers, etc. As a condensing combi boiler, heat is extracted from the units exhaust gases, allowing for higher efficiency and therefore helping you save on energy costs. With room air intake and the ability to use to use PVC venting, you can save considerable costs in venting materials and installation labor. Its 95% AFUE qualifies for valuable state and local rebates in select areas. Professional Sizing and Installation Recommended.

Keep getting "fill" message

Installed this about a year ago. Heats the home very well. Is very quiet and compact, clearly innovative product. Unfortunately, the first six months, while using dhw, the water would turn ice cold because the system would go to 'fill' mode. I needed a new (bi or tri) valve which worked well after installation of the new valve. Now after another 6 months, the same thing is happening again. Not a great surprise when your taking a hot shower and the water turns ice cold.

Mixed Feelings

Mixed feelings . Heats well. However my understanding that it had recirculation pump built in like Navien. Save on gas but for dhw bit slow to deliver. Once it gets hot its good.

nothing but trouble.no one will work on these

Works like a charm. Quieter than the 1st one I bought. I bought this one as a replacement after the original broke within 6 months of use not using the in flooring heating option just DHW. I think it was just a lemon but hoping the new one holds up. Either Rheem and Home Depot handled full reimbursement and replacement of the unit including removal and installation of the new one. Happy for now.
