Product Details

The Richmond 50 Gal. heavy duty natural gas heater has a 6 year tank and parts limited warranty and provides enough hot water to satisfy a house hold size of 3 to 5 people. The 60,000 BTU/hour has a first hour delivery of 93 Gal. The recovery rate is 61 GPH at a 90 temperature rise. The environmentally friendly low NOx burner design provides low nitrous oxide emissions. Unit is equipped with a flammable vapor detection system and is maintenance free (no filter to clean). Piezo ignition for easy light, no match required.

California and Utah residents (Utah effective 7/1/18): this water heater does not meet ultra-low NOx (ULN) Emissions Requirements; regulations prohibit the sale, shipment or installation of this water heater in any air quality district that requires ULN water heaters; please refer to the maps below to confirm if your home is in a district that requires ULN emission water heaters, and if so please select an approved ULN model

JUNK

Less then 1 year old and parts are on order. nothing like cold water showers in the winter.

Do NOT buy! MODEL ISSUES!!!!

I not only have this water heater in my own home, but I also own rental properties that have this water heater as well. This is now the Third water heater from them, (within less than 1 year of purchasing them), and they fall apart! I have had my own basement flood out twice because of this water heater and I know how to fix water heaters! They obviously have issues with this model and need a recall!! You call this Company and their phone number is disconnected, you get a dead signal. Classy!

Less than one year old multiple problems

Heater is less than one year old. Have had multiple problems. Been out to work on it twice. Once I paid out of pocket. Second was under warranty. After warranty repair it heated for one day. Now it’s going to be 2 business days before they return. Sending a repairman from almost 3 hours away. Customer service tells me that in some areas they don’t have any technicians. Of course you’re not told that when you buy it.

Just replaced the 3rd one in 8 years

Would not buy! They do not last, really shame that they produce such crap. My suggestion, pay a bit more & don't buy this brand.

Only lasted a year.

Don’t buy if you want something reliable. We had it for one year before the pilot would not stay lit.

1 year, warranty difficulty

These have defective parts, crappy warranties, and only last a year. Atrocious, disgusting, garbage, do NOT buy.

Unacceptable

Only had water heater one year and 2 months and hot water stopped working so had to replace a part was covered under warranty but to me lasting one year before something goes wrong is unacceptable

Unreliable water heater

Save yourself a headache don't buy this product! Gas valve failed after 6 months and the thermocouple a lil after a year.. I called customer service it took 5 days for the part cause they charge extra for two day shipping.. So be prepared to take cold showers.
