Is the camera angle adjustable?

My current doorbell is mounted to the left of my door with a wall running closely along the left side of where the doorbell will be mounted. I'm afraid that the wall would take up the majority of the camera frame if the angle is not adjustable.

Ring suggests mounting at 4 feet in height and the angle of what you would like to see is adjustable in width as well as in distance.

Yes this unit works with your existing door bell chime, it simply replaces one of the buttons, unless you have enough of these units to replace all of your door bell buttons.

Was having continual issues with my first generation model syncing with my WiFi even with one of the Orbi WiFi units less then a foot from the doorbell unit. Bracket for the old unit broke while replacing entry door so I took the plunge. Glad I did as the unit is finally performing as intended. Picture quality for both day and night are improved as well. Never did the monthly service plan for reviewing video from notifications. Unit comes with a free 30 day trial and now that I have used it it I will be signing up when the trial is over. Biggest reason is this. The unit begins recording when the motion sensor is tripped. The person then rings the doorbell or drops something on the porch which will trigger an alert to your phone. Once your phone goes off and you open the app more then 10 seconds may have lapsed. You are now watching the live feed and not the video leading up to the live view. If someone is grabbing a package you may only get look at the back of their head if that. Just food for though.

I installed it yesterday 12/2/18, and I'm still adjusting the detection area and sensitivity to give me what I want, but so far so good. The video picture is very clear and at night I can see plenty of detail. I did however, have an issue while installing it which was NOT covered in the installation guide. Following the step by step guide, I hit a problem when I was trying to connect the doorbell to my WIFI. I had a white ring on the doorbell with a section that was flashing. After several frustrating attempts, I called customer support and talked to a technician who helped identify the problem. It turns out that the battery was not fully charged so it was not ready to be programmed. That information was not included in the setup procedures and it was extremely frustrating because I thought I had a defective unit! After talking to the technician, I let the unit charge for an hour and when I went back, it was ready to continue with the setup. The technician said that the units are fully charged when they are shipped but there's no telling how long they sit on shelves before they're sold. Knowing that the units need to be fully charged before setup can proceed would save a bunch of phone calls to customer service from frustrated customers!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Many False Alerts I don't recommend this product. I had high hopes for ring pro as a second generation. Figuring they would of resolved any bugs they had with the first generations. But it is loaded with bugs. 1. Constant false alert at night. Night vision is constantly turning on and off. Called tech support and they said I had insects setting it off. Next tech tells me the lights from the cars are setting it off. It's one Excuse after another. My product is still not fixed since they first launched it. 2. Recording has a delay of about 3 to 5 seconds before it starts to record. Tech support blamed it on my internet speed. I showed tech support that I was receiving 110mbps speed from my phone next to the door bell. They ignored me for days and closed the ticket. 3. Some times when I view the false alert, I do not see my front door. I see someone else's front door. This is a huge security risk. Tech support states they are having issues and it will be resolved. But I still see it happening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slim - Better quality camera - Advance motion detection - 4 colors included (cream, brown, black, silver) The installation looks intimidating but it's really easy. You basically disconnect the front and transformer cables and hook them up to the plastic terminals included. It took me about 30 minute total installation and that included the time to read instructions and watch the installation video. The difference between this one and the regular video doorbell is this one has a 1080p HD video camera and the other one is 720p. This one also has the advanced motion detection feature which is really cool because you can create a rule on when to disable motion alerts (specific day and time) also you custom create the motion zone. The other great motion detection that the other doorbell doesn't have is the choice to only activate people's motion instead of all activity. The exterior of my home is almond/cream color so the cream color face plate matches perfectly. I replaced my old video doorbell for this one and it was easy to set up the new device on the app I already had. I didn't need to create a new account as you can have multiple devices on the same account.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RING PRO I got it at costco for $179.00 plus a year of cloud storage included If you dont have the cloud storage and say your doing something and cant get to your phone within 5 seconds of the Notification from your doorbell and you try to view it. It will tell you it was a past notification. And tell you, you need to pay to view past notifications. To me to pay $30 for a peace of mind in case something happens is worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Seriously? I loved my Ring doorbell... that is until it completely stopped working when it got cold out. After Googling and reading more about it on Ring's support site, come to find out that cold weather does, in fact, cause it to stop working properly and "you should bring your device inside when it gets cold out". Sure, I'll get right on top of dismantling my hardwired doorbell when it gets cold in WINTER. And I'm not talking Canada cold, I'm talking Pennsylvania cold. Somehow, my Arlo cameras are just fine and any other devices that could potentially be used outside... what a joke. This was an amazing 5 star recommendable product to me. Way to go Ring *slow claps*. So unless if you live somewhere where there is no winter, this is probably not the product for you.
