          Rino-Tuff Universal Autowind Pro
This is truly a blessing to have purchased! the OEM trimmer head on my craftsman weed eater just fell apart in a year span, and this thing is nothing buy true awesomeness. Definitely recommend this product to anyone that struggles to refeed line as well. one piece of line and goes all the way through as one piece to wind up inside the spool takes off alot of idle time when you run out. buy this product!

Simple to install and works great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first purchase my straight shaft echo trimmer, it came with a speed bump head but that head broke last year due to the constant slamming and scraping of the bottom plastic. I replaced it with a generic bump head, and that new head didn’t work well at as the original bump head. If was very frustrating to use. Getting my hands on this new this Pro Trimmer head was a stress reliever. Just like any trimmer head, it was simple to install. The Pro Trimmer head came with an assortment of screw in adapter to help make it attach to your current trimmer. It also came with a plastic ring that suppose to go between the trimmer and the new bump head, but I had to install it without. This new Pro Trimmer head works great! Adding a new set of string was easy peasy. Just slide the string in, make sure there’s equal length coming out both side, twist until all the string is mostly in, and done. One of the best features about this new Pro Trimmer head is the amount of string it can hold. According to the manual, it can hold up to 26ft depending on the size of your string. That is doubled the amount of what my old bump head can hold!

Great product but only for a straight shaft edger
Great product but only for a straight shaft edger. It was clear in the description but "straight" was something I did not notice. I can see the product is excellent for what it does. I could not get it installed because my edger is curved. So it is important to see this and understand its suitability and compatibility before purchasing. The front of the package does say "straight shaft only". I can say this is exactly what I have been looking for in that all I want is a loaded replacement cartridge head. This precludes adding, wrapping wire to the head, reinstalling the head. It is a shame I can't use it but I understand its purpose which is great. If you have a straight neck edger, this is for you for sure. It has different mounting adaptors and overall it looks really sturdy.

              User friendly!
This is the second Rino-Tuff product I’ve used and both are well thought out, well designed and nicely engineered. It addresses my most common problem with typical string trimmer cartridges- the difficult and frustrating reloading of the nylon string. This head makes that job a breeze with its slide-through and twist reloading. No more trying to keep two lines in place while reassembling the head. It even comes with assorted hardware to fits several different brands and models of trimmers. I haven’t used it long enough to know how long the trimmer string lasts but I’m pleased with how easy it is to install and use.

              Lot To Like
I have an Echo trimmer and use a speed head. The Rino-Tuff Universal Autowind Pro Bump Head is the perfect next step for me. It feels slightly heavier than my old head. The Rino will hold 26’ of .095 line, 6’ more than what I am used to. Now it will hold more or less line depending upon the size line that you use. Directions have a chart listing capacity for each of the accepted line diameters. Installing the head is simple, just remove the old bump head (I lock the shaft on my Echo using a Torx screwdriver and carefully remove the head using one of those pliers style oil filter wrenches). Once the old head has been removed, find the right adapter and then install the adapter and the head. Voila. The Homer web page for this product list .095 line as recommended. The head comes preloaded which gives me a chance to sample Rino line. To reload the head, cut the line to length for your sized line, align the super visible line load arrows on the bottom of the head with the line holes in the head, pull line through the head until the midpoint is in the center of the head (The two lengths of the line on either side of the head are equal in length) then wind it in. If you have issues with installation or reloading, there is help line. I tried it out and found the young lady I spoke with to be friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. There is a QR code link to an installation video but I could not access that video today. I’m impressed with both the quality and ease of installation. It’s time to get ready for the growing season and now that the Rino bump head is installed, at least my String Line Trimmer is ready. I notice that Homer also markets a Rino Brush Cutter head. I think I could use one of those as well. Nice bump head, Rino.

              Easy to install, works great!
I installed the Rino-Tuff Replacement Bump Head on my Poulan 4-Cycle string trimmer. It took less than five minutes to remove the old head and install the new Rino-Tuff head on my trimmer. I removed the old head and picked the correct adapter that matched the thread on the shaft of my trimmer, screwed on the new head and tightened everything up—it was a snap. Someone had replaced the original factory bump head with a Line Blade head on my string trimmer, but the 4-cycle engine has too much power for the line blades. I used up a set of line-blades each time I did my lawn. I have been searching for a good replacement bump head and I think I found it. It is incredibly easy to refill the line on this Rino-Tuff head and you can use line from .080 inch to .105 inches. The head seems to be well-built and solid. The package includes adapters for almost all string trimmers and about 30 feet of .095 inch twisted line. I definitely recommend the Rino-Tuff Universal Autowind Pro Replacement Bump Head for anyone looking for a replacement head for their straight shaft gas or cordless string trimmer.

Ample capacity, very large string guides, extremely easy to load
I own 3 trimmers. 2 gas and 1 electric. Both wheeled and hand gas trimmers initially came with manual feed heads. Every time I needed to trim it was a pain to find pliers to pull out string left overs, cut new strings and replace them. Late spring and early summer I had to do it twice per cut or even 3 times if I had to edge. Once I replaced manual feed heads with auto feeders things became much better. Ryobi style bump head held around 8 manual loads. Wheeled trimmer has Echo style head that fits perfectly without any modification to its arbor. Echo style bump head looked bigger than Ryobi, but accepted less string, around 7 manual loads. I use 0.105" Rino-Tuff warped string line. Lesser diameter string may offer more loads but would be consumed faster as well. I use 42"cc wheeled trimmer to cut bigger more stubborn weeds close to my neighbor pond. Those weeds are tough cookies and 7 loads go in blink of an eye. This head will solve my problem with a rather frequent reloads of Echo style bump head. Rino-Tuff head can accept whooping 16 loads if not more. Guide holes are much bigger so it's very easy to guide curly string through this bump head. You will never had to pop its head to guide string through. I'm also pleased with very good material quality. I think it's carbon fiber nylon hybrid. This head came with multiple thread adapters. It can be fitted to both my hand and wheeled trimmers. This bigger head has more inertia and hence heavier cutting impact. The reason why Echo style head hold less string than smaller diameter Ryobi is because it has left-right feed channel separator, that basically splits one reel into two. This separator takes volume and hence less string can be stored. Reel inside Rino-Tuff head also has no left-right feed separator that adds the volume for string storage.

Rino-Tuff Autowinder Pro String Replacement Head is the cat's meow.
It's said to be twice as durable as the residential grade with 20-25% more capacity. I believe it. I have a Stihl FS130 and it eats heads and string for breakfast. I actually gave up buying the autofeeds and shot myself in the foot because I had to precut two 17” strips and hand thread them each time they got short which was constantly. When I got my hands on this I was hopeful. Sun is out today and I installed it quickly. Took the old head off. Tried a few of the adapters, screwed the best fitting adapter on the shaft, slipped the washer over the shaft and screwed the head on and cut for a few minutes. Feeds great and I know the head will be easy to load by simply feeding it in and winding the string inside. These will make my summers much easier and that is a great thing. Looks like if your trimmer head uses a threaded shaft you are in luck. They point out about 10 electric models and a bunch of gas models that this will fit. Much better head than the ones I bought from Stihl. I used.130 square line in the steel head I took off. With this you have a range of .80 to .105. The string they loaded up with was a twisted line and cut very well, it felt like a .90. I am happy, you will be too!

I guess Home Depot stop carrying the echo speed feed...
I guess Home Depot stop carrying the echo speed feed in store so I bought this because I needed something now, build and inside components are great very solid item, but winding it up sucks, with the speed feed I would be able to wind it up within a few seconds this one takes me about a minute or two, but great build quality
