The SHOPSERIES Jobsite Table Saw (RK7241S) is a powerful, rugged and capable jobsite saw by itself. Add the available attachments and it can produce results to rival stationary saws 3 times the price, like those used by cabinet and furniture makers. SHOPSERIES has found a way to increase the depth of cut to 3-9/16 in. This is more than other saws and allows the user to cut through a 4x4 post with just 1-pass. The unique laser cut line indicator shows the exact place the blade will cut the material, so cuts are more precise. Other features include a class leading 30 in. of cut capacity and a quick-folding stand and wheels for easy transportation from place to place.

The body is plastic and the top is aluminum
The body an top is metal? and not some kind of composite material?
No, the body and the table top is not plastic.
15 amps. It's about the same power and rpm as a jobsite circular saw but the larger blade means the teeth are moving considerably faster. This is about the same power as other saws in its class. It's a good saw, and it might be the best portable table saw I've ever used, although obviously not on the same level as a stationary table saw.
Thank you for your question. The motor is a 15Amp hour motor. Thank you for choosing Rockwell!
Apart from the dado throat plate, the add-ons originally available are no longer manufactured, and I've been unable to locate any, even used. The wider throatplate is still available, and allows for the use of stacked dado blades.
I've had mine a little over a year and I've been unable to find any add-ons, like the extension table or the edge finisher. They must have been available at one time, but I can't even find them anywhere online, new or used. Also, for what it's worth, the laser on mine only functioned once, in testing, but I'm not sure it was a useful feature anyway. I bought this saw with an eye towards expansion and those options are no longer there, but it's a very good portable table saw and I've not seen anything else deployable that made me want to upgrade.
No, there is no vacum port. If you're looking to buy a table saw for wood working look somewhere else. This saw is best left for cutting 2 by's for studs and roof rafters. There are problems with the throat plate, a real weired configuration, the rail for the fence has more high and low spots which means the fence never repeats unless you're good with a 32ng of an inch. The arbor shaft on mine has threads way undersize which translates into a wobbly nut that barely hangs on, even a new nut is loose. Im waiting for Rockwell to tell me what they're going to do. The aluminum table top is very rough and not flat, not even close. This is a saw for a construction site where they can throw it away when the job is done. The laser line...you'll probably never use it. Its tiny you'll always have your work on top of it and the first time you forget to turn it off the battery will be dead the next time you go to use it. Buy a good name brand. The 5/8 threads that hold the blade on are almost .025 undersize so if you're gonna put dado blades on over these threads the concentricity while rotatating at 4700 rpms will probably sound like a freight train passing through and will vibrate very rough which cant be all that good for a arbor nut that barely grips the arbor shaft.
No, just the bag.
No, this item does not have a vacuum attachment.
Yes. It comes with blade. I have used this table saw quite a bit and the blade is holding up nicely. I love this saw!!!
Yes. It comes with a 10" 24-tooth carbide-tipped blade, very good for framing and general work, but not enough teeth for finish work.
Yes it does come with a blade. A couple of important features should be mentioned like you will find it almost impossible to make a zero earance throat plate and you cannot buy one. The saw fence does not repeat in straightness, everytime you loosen it you will have to find a way to get it straight on you next cut or the wood will start to jam. The book says it repeats within 1/32 of an inch...and thats exactly what you get. In most wood working thats rediculous. The table is "rough" aluminum and is not flat. If youre cutting 2x10 for roofing its ok, if your going to make kitchen cabinet drawers you'll have your work cut to get that job done, its not anywhere near a precision table saw. The laser line....they should have left it out. Feel free to ask more questio s about this saw before you buy it. Oh ya, there are a lot of magnetic fixtures that cant be used with this saw because of the aluminum table.
15 amps
Rule of thumb is 14 amps per HP in a standard 115 volt motor.
