Complete Trash
What a waste of money and time. After 5 rolls we stopped and took it all up. Will return the remaining rolls.

    Second Attempt
Was completely disappointed with the quality last time I purchased. I was hopeful they would improve the quality checks, but Home Depot does not care. More than half the roll is decomposed.

      Trash product
It is absolutely ridiculous how low of quality this pinestraw is. Full of debris tucked neatly in the center of every bale. I purchased 20 plus bales. Whoever rolled the bales knew exactly what they were doing. They should be ashamed of themselves.

        Rolled "pine straw"
Complete junk. Big sticks, weeds, inconsistent roll sizes. Won't get me again.

          Problem Pine Straw.
Rolled vines, weeds, sticks, leaves and dried out crumbling pine straw. I returned this the same day after opening only one roll. I later learned from my local feed and seed provider whose rolled pine straw had the same issue that this is common because there is no attempt to clean or remove debris on any rolled pine straw. This is done due to unavailability of labor for this work so whatever is on the ground is what you get. To have clean straw you must buy something like ‘Vigoro’ Clean pine straw sold at Home Depot in small bags for $12 per bag. As it worked out mulch was a less costly option and lasts longer than pine atraw.

Rolled Leaves, Pine Cones and Sticks
Really awful experience and product. Delivered a day late (meaning that I was not present to accept it), left wooden pallets that I then had to get rid off, and delivered small, under-filled rolls. That might have been tolerable if the quality of the straw had not been absolutely awful - it was loaded with leaves. Enough to make one think that wherever they collected it had more deciduous trees and palm trees than pine trees. Yes, we are all used to getting bales of pine straw where you have to pick out the stray stick or two. This was more than 100 times worse - see photos. Importantly, I am not a complainer - I gave Home Depot 5 stars and a glowing review for a water heater installation a month ago. Thoroughly inspect this product before buying it - I am having to completely cover all of this "mulch" with pine straw from another vendor in an attempt to have it look halfway decent. Could not be more disappointed.

There were a lot of sticks and cones in the straw. This was extra work picking it all out to get the nice straw look I was going for.

Very, vdry easy to handle, load was perfect; also, spreading was made easier.

Rolled PIne Straw is dyed brown
This rolled pine straw was dyed brown and the brown dye washed out all over my white driveway. Fortunately, pressure washing will remove the stains. But DO NOT use this pine straw near any white driveway or walkway.

            Long Needle Pine Straw Roll
Purchased 8 roles of this stuff and it was horrible in each roll. Filled with sticks, burnt wood, vines and prickly vines. I filled up an entire yard bag with waste ( see attached ) with these 8 rolls. The double roll is also not true on these rolls. I redo my front every year with 8 standard bales. So i purchased 8 double so i could also do the back beds. I did not even have enough straw to do the front with the double or 16 plus bales: knowing i do this every year with 8 normal bales Not worth the doubles obviously and supplier for these is delivering waste material and junk.
