A:  Diane Thank you for your interest in Root Pouch products. Our fabric is made from recycled water bottles and natural fibers. This is a porous fabric pot and water is meant to drain out of the pot. If you are using this pot indoors or on a surface that needs protecting please use a saucer.       A:  I used these in my raised bed garden, primarily for smaller trees that have a longer growing period to mature, and I can move them as needed to control sun exposure and more accurately feed it and water it in the Texas climate ( hot and dry). Overall they are holding up very well, and they’re easy to move if necessary.

          A:  good morning the best way to wash our pouches it to use a mild soap with a hose outdoors and air dry. They can be washed in a washing machine on cold but that could leave some potting oil in your washing machine Thank you Root Pouch

            Dear Home Depot & Root pouch: How are you? I repotted a couple of my indoor house plants & at the wrong time & it has set my plants into shock-I made a big mistake. Others are still in the 1 gallon pouch in my Hopes of surviving through the winter season & better growth come spring.             Trash. The fabric didn't breathe enough to allow growth. I did a side by side comparison, same plants in the same sized tera cotta pots, and the plants in the bags stopped growing after ~5 weeks. The stems were the thickness of a pencil and stayed that way. The bags did hold on to water well and most of the plants survived to be moved into a garden bed. But I cannot recommend these to anyone
