Can I use this to waterproof my roof or as membrane before shingle it ?

While EPDM is known for its weather and UV resistance, this product is only 3 feet wide and is not designed as a roofing membrane. Covering a roof would require multiple seams, which could create potential leak points if not installed with specialized roofing materials and methods. Is this product is fuel/ diesel resistant?
Hello Alex, Thank you for your question! This EPDM rubber sheet would not be recommended for fuel or diesel applications. While EPDM offers excellent resistance to weathering, UV, and certain chemicals, it generally has poor resistance to petroleum-based products like gasoline and diesel, which can cause the material to swell and degrade over time. How is applied to a concrete block wall
Hello Dan, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not offer a reliable method for mounting the EPDM Rubber Sheet vertically to a concrete block wall. While we do offer a version with a PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) backing, the bond would not be strong enough to hold the material in a vertical application. For a permanent and secure installation, you would need to source a heavy-duty adhesive that is compatible with both EPDM rubber and concrete or masonry surfaces. "Neoprene 70 Durometer" is a hard neoprene sheet blend of SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber), nitrile, and neoprene rubber. This elastomer has an average durometer of 65-75, which means that it is a hard and resilient material that can withstand physical abrasions. In addition to the considerable physical durability of this thick neoprene, it also features a moderate resistance to oil, ozone, and some chemicals. These properties make these durable neoprene sheets very popular for use in a variety of industrial applications that require a strong elastomer to serve as bumper pads, seals, or protectors.The most common reason why people choose a hard neoprene is because of its physical thickness and durability. It is very reliable when used for physically demanding applications.
