This rubber flooring is okay. I used this to exercise on in my garage. The flooring did an adequate job protecting the floor but it did not provide much padding for the impact on my body. If you are going to be doing plyometric training on this I would get something a little thicker that can offer a little more protection from ground reaction force.

I am sorry that the Elephant Bark mat did not meet your expectations! We also offer our Shark Tooth mat, which is highly rated for its durability and cushioning abilities. They also come in thicker sizes. You are free to initiate a return for the mat if you are not completely satisfied.

This mat is very heavy for its size, which is a good thing. It does not slide, or move at all. Very good to cover a slippery surface. Size is exactly as stated. Made of pressed rubber, I assume, which is hopefully recycled, it has a slight texture which I tried to capture in a close up. Other than the packing list, I could not find any paper work with info on the product. Easy to keep clean by hosing off or sweeping. Some minute particles of sand and dust may stick in the tiny pitted surface, but not enough to make a difference in use. Good size to be used outside a doorway, inside a laundry room, or anywhere else you can use a good skid proof floor mat. LOVE this.

I think this black rubber mat is called elephant bark because it is so heavy duty. It is one one piece, 20 square feet of flexible, solid flooring rubber. It can be used many places around the house - under exercise equipment, in the laundry room, garage or basement. This mat is much heavier than the fit together style mats that are available. I just have to decide where to use it. It is a heavy, solid but flexible mat.

Don’t use a razor or box cutter if you received the matt via mail. You will cut the matt! I am impressed in the thickness of this foam matt. I was expecting the matt to be a bit thin and not much “springiness” to it however this matt is perfect for a gym or under another matt to give a top matt some more comfort. This is definitely a heavy duty industrial style matt. It will hold up to long use. The matt can be trimmed/cut for a custom fit to meet you exact size/need. I am going to use this foam matt to place under a thinner matt in my kitchen to give me more comfort when cooking and standing on my feet.

I’ve had this rubber mat for around a week now and it has worked out great for my workout room. It’s nice and high quality material has held up to foot traffic and has saved my floors from weights being dropped. It’s thick enough for me to do floor exercise on it and not feel like I’m killing my back on the hard floor. I’m really happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for something to protect their floor or their back from the floor.

This rubber mat is heavy and flexible. It was easy to install and layout. It was packaged very well. It does flex or gives when weight is applied. It can be used indoors or outdoors too. It also has many other applications. I’m using it for a future weight room I'm creating in my basement for my bench press. Still working the details. Laying down barbells without a thud on the concrete flooring is nice and keeps my weights looking new. It is a quality piece and am very satisfied with it.

I picked up this Rubber-Cal Elephant Bark Black 3/8 in. T x 48 in. W x 60 in. L Rubber Flooring (20 sq. ft.) to put underneath my Polaris RZR. It is thick and heavy, quality material for sure. I wanted a mat or pad under the RZR for when I do maintenance so I don’t dirty the garage floor with oil or other stuff. I think this rubber sheet is going to do the trick. I wish I bought a larger one, so I might pick up another one or a larger one to park the entire RZR on. So far as far as driving over it it seems durable and no signs of wear or damage.

Pick up this rubber elephant mat to replace the rubber matting on top of my rolling tool storage in my garage. The first thing I noticed right away as the staff is extremely heavy and thick a lot thicker than I thought it was gonna be based upon the description of the product. Because this product is thick it is also very heavy which makes handling it more difficult. I would suggest keeping it in a roll and tying it up with some string in several places to keep it from unraveling

The RUBBER-CAL ELEPHANT BARK BLACK 3/8 IN. T X 48 IN. W X 60 IN. L RUBBER FLOORING (20 SQ. FT.) is the perfect flooring for our shop. I installed my new product in front of our metal production table. The mat provided much needed comfort to help keep your feet from getting tired during long hours of standing. The mat also provides a little warmth compared to standing on a cold concrete floor. I can see myself purchasing several more of these same size mats for other production areas. Just the right thickness and size and provides a good "no-slip" surface. The mat has enough weight to it that it did NOT move at all during use. The mat is also easy to pick up and move for daily cleaning as well.

After relocating my basement workbench. I scraped and scrubbed the floor, then installed this new mat. See photograph 1. After all, its made of recycled tires and polyurethane binder - nothing should hurt it, including a bit of moisture. I simply rolled it out - and it laid flat: no residual curl! Available in fifteen different lengths, this one fit between the bench legs so I didn't have to notch it to catch things dropped from the bench edge. See photograph 2. The mat provides a smooth (easy to clean) even surface and covers minor imperfections in flooring. Over concrete, it required no adhesive or anti-slide film or tape to keep it still. It has a lot of traction and provides a slip-resistant surface for sure footing. While not thick enough or spongey enough notably to be considered an anti-fatigue mat, it certainly does provide a thermal barrier between one's feet and a potentially chilling floor. I also like that the width of the mat furnishes a depth from my bench that allows me to step back and stand projects on the floor for finishing their assembly; or perhaps placing a stool at my workbench and still not contending with the edges of a lesser floor covering, like a (n office) chair mat. See photograph 3. It does show some resiliency and may protect a few things dropped from the bench. Its uniform color and texture also may help me retrieve some smaller ones... Seeing how it's made of tires, I don't foresee much that will stain or otherwise harm it. It's certainly easier to maintain than the underlying concrete and more wear-resistant than wood or other paneling that I might have used. (It's also easier to relocate than is the latter.) Because of its toughness, I expect a long service life.
