Would this be good for a truck bed mat to keep things from sliding around

Is this mat good for a garage where oil, water, and other chemicals could be spilled on it?

Can this mat remain submerged underwater as a pool ladder protector?

While the mat has moderate chemical resistance, it is not designed for continuous underwater use, and prolonged exposure to chlorinated pool water may shorten the service life of the rubber. I want to use this to cover an open manhole in my driveway until I can afford to fix the concrete apron around the manhole cover. I will be driving a small car over it and walking over it. Will this item work?

If the manhole cover is securely in place, then yes, the Maxx-Tuff Rubber Floor Protection Mat can be used over it and should be suitable for both foot traffic and a small passenger vehicle. However, if the manhole cover is missing, we do not recommend using this mat to cover the opening. The mat is flexible rubber and is not rigid enough to safely span an open manhole or support the weight of people or vehicles without the cover in place. Can glue be applied to the bottom of the mat to prevent movement on concrete?

How long would you say these would these mats last in the direct sun? Any shrinkage?
