These neoprene mats are great! Selection of colors, quality of materials, and durability of mats are excellent! I have one in front of my stove, one in front of my sink, one in my garage in front of the workbench, and one in my workshop. They have drastically reduced the amount of fatigue I feel in my feet, legs, and back after standing in the kitchen for hours cooking or working out in the shop on my feet for several hours at a time. I couldn’t be happier with these mats and would recommend them to anyone whether you want them for Home, Work, Office, or your garage or workshop. This particular Matt is long and skinny and fits perfect in front of the kitchen sink. They come in a variety of sizes colors and styles so they are very versatile for the different areas you can use them in.

This 36" x 36" commercial grade, square rubber mat has many uses.  It is 1/4" thick, soft rubbery sheet, very flexible, color is black. Notably, when it is on the floor, it does not move, it literally hugs the floor, does not slide, which is a nice feature, especially on tile or marble, which scatter rugs often slide on.  It is solid, but fairly lightweight, so you can pick it up, move it around as needed.  I can think of a bunch of uses:  1) by workout equipment (ie. universal weight machine, free weights, etc...).  I have seen mats like these in the gym, and I liked them very much.  I like the idea of some of these mats, or a larger sheet of the same material to cover the floor of a workout area; it would be far superior to walking on cement; 2) I have a lawn tractor that is stored in the garage.  Anytime the tractor needs any work/repair (ie. oil change, air in tires, replace a tire, clean under the deck, sharpen the blades, etc...), you are very close to the mower, also near the ground/floor, same with the snow blower or an automobile/truck.  This mat is PERFECT for providing a soft spot to kneel or sit on, instead of sitting or kneeling directly on concrete  or pavement.  I think these mats should be sold in automotive supply stores, also where lawnmowers are sold for these reasons.  Similarly, in the basement or garage, there are times when you may be assembling or repairing something, when you are very close to the floor, sitting, squatting, or kneeling.  I love this mat for that purpose.  It provides a cushiony surface to kneel or sit, also a cushion if something drops/falls while you are working.  When the furnace is being worked on or cleaned, this is another application, the water tank, same with plumbing work/repairs under the sink, also for use in ANY repairs that require kneeling or sitting on the floor, especially on a tile or concrete floor.  My kitchen and baths all have tile, which is almost as hard as a rock.  Kneeling on tile is tough on the knees, not with this mat, a small price to pay for knee protection.  Other applications...  in a play area for kids, give them a cushiony layer to soften any falls.  While this mat won't prevent injuries, I expect that landing on a cushiony layer would be superior to a hard floor.  I have seen these mats used in commercial spaces where someone is standing for protracted times, like a cashier, hair stylist, barber, dishwasher, etc... for a cushion under their feet, smart thinking, makes standing on their feet all day more tolerable.  I have seen them used in auto repair shops where the cashier stands, good thinking. I had another idea... which is to cut it in half (with scissors), use it as padding for a rug I have in front of the kitchen sink. There are days when my feet are killing me from being on them all day, when standing on my tile floor becomes painful... I had put padding beneath a rug in front of the kitchen sink, but the rug kept sliding off of that padding. The rug does NOT slide off of this rubber sheet, it stays in place as does the rug above it, adding a layer of padding without the underlying padding regularly being exposed, requiring me to regularly adjust it, which looks much better, and is one less thing that I need to do. I also have a wood pellet stove.  When I clean out the ash, my hands become black, some, minimal black residue can spill from the fireproof platform, onto my BEIGE rug, in spite of my best efforts to avoid same.  I always let the stove cool before I clean it out, so ash should be cool, even so, it makes a mess if any of it lands on my rug.  I plan to begin using this mat in stove cleanings to cover, protect my beige rug, prevent it from being exposed to black ash residue that is light, and can spill over to stain my carpet.  I would rather the cold ash/soot that might otherwise travel to stain my beige rug, instead land on this BLACK mat, where it can easily be wiped clean, avoid damage to my rug, which would be very costly to replace.   Lots of uses, great idea!  I think I made a great choice. I also realize that we need more than one... No regrets... 

The Rubber-Cal neoprene commercial grade soft rubber roll provides a great cushioning for those people that have to stand. I am using this for my reloading area to give me the extra cushioning for when I am standing for a long time. It is tough enough to have my stool on top. The only drawback in this product is that it picks up any dust print. Easily cleans.

The RUBBER-CAL NEOPRENE 1/4 IN. X 36 IN. X 36 IN. Soft Rubber Roll is very resilient and tough. I used it under my workbench and it works well to reduce fatigue and serves to dampen drops on the floor. The sheet lays flat and stays put. The mat cleans up well and does not seem to absorb oil I spilled. SO far it has not torn or scuffed from a couple weeks of use in my work shop.

It is commercial grade 45A, soft rubber. 45 Durometer Neoprene is a Flexible and More Compressible Industrial Rubber, according to the manufacturer. Usage: This product has many uses. One can use it where oil, petroleum, ozone, and weathering-resistance is desired. Even this softer grade is extremely durable. It can resist degradation from temperature and industrial chemicals. I find it useful for padding and for insulation. You can make flaps out of it or squeegee blades. Your imagination is the only limiting factor. Oh, and did I mention that it makes a great gasket material, with a tensile strength of 700 PSI? Overall Thoughts: Strong, tough and long lasting, with many uses.

This is no doubt a high quality, multi purpose rubber which is sure to satisfy customers in all sorts of different industries. Ultimately, what I needed was a flexible surface on which i could make various concrete items. I had tried plywood, which was a pain to clean off and rigid. I then tried cardboard, which had great flexibility, but the concrete would bond and when i attempted to remove the bonded chunks i ended up getting holes in the cardboard. Additionally, the cardboard would get all worn and misshapen. This rubber is an absolutely great solution. The concrete doesn’t bond solidly so when i peel the chunks it doesn’t damage the rubber. Since it has oil resistance it can handle a little wd-40 if i overspray my form. With it’s great flexibility i can fold or roll the 3’x3’ section up to get it outside or over a wheel barrow to clean the old concrete off. When i get it cleaned off and set the mat back on the ground it lays flat again, having not sustained any warping or damage. It also works great to place under a vehicle while working on it and the rubber has great grip properties. I can see it being used as many different items where grip is needed, like bed mats and similar products or even something like a squeegee. This soft rubber would work great as an anti vibration mat and also to set heavy items on to protect the surface underneath. It’s really an all around great product, and for as versatile and durable as it is, it’s not extremely heavy. My 9 square feet mat weighs about 14 and a half pounds, so roughly 1.6 lbs per sq ft. While it may not be heavy, it is definitely heavy duty. This could very well work as an anti slip flooring, and in the case of it being used as flooring could double as an anti fatigue mat. Rubber-Cal really did great in the engineering and manufacturing of the 45A soft neoprene rubber.

Wow! 9 square feet of material weighs nearly 15 pounds! This is a seriously dense square of neoprene. It's going to be a bit difficult to be effusive about a sheet of rubber, but I'll try. My intention in obtaining this material was to create a soft standing area in our laundry room. For that purpose, this is overkill. It's really strong and still plenty soft for comfort. I'm now interested in trying it in other applications requiring a waterproof material that has give.

I got this rubber mat to put on my workbench when working on fragile parts. The mat was rolled up in the box for shipping and will need a little time in a warm room to flatten out again. The material is quite heavy and seems to be of good quality. It smells a little like rubber, as expected, but I hope the smell will go away soon. All-in-all a good product as advertised.

This rubber- cal neoprene 1/4x36x36 mat shipped quick and was easy to install (dropped it on the floor). Not to much to explain on this one, its a rubber mat. I threw it on my shop floor and you can definitely feel the difference compared to the concrete floor. After standing for long periods of time on a concrete floor, my back gets real tight and sore. I think this will help out with that problem.

This is nice high quality rubber. One side is nearly smooth and the other side is shiny and smooth. They gave me a slightly generous cut which is nice. The thickness is true to size. This rubber is very abrasion resistant and puncture resistant. It cuts fairly well with sharp tin snips or a fresh new razor blade. Ww used it underneath some scrap metal shears that jerk sharply when completing a thick cut. The rubber under the feet greatly reduces shock. The rest of the rubber will be a durable and easy to clean fatigue mat so my feet don’t ache when standing on concrete for hours by my tool chest.
