That is my exact setup, holds great. I used a 1.25” long #8 flat head wood screw in the front hole only (the hole closest to the tapered end)

I allow gravity alone to hold my shelves in place, I think more importantly is the space between brackets- for a 3’ shelf I used 18” 

Thank you for your interest in our products and reaching out! The 11.5 in. White Twin Track Bracket for Wood or Wire Shelving does not hold a clothing rod. We do not have any brackets that holds a wooden shelf and clothing rods.

The brackets have holes on the bottom.  I used long thin screws to secure the shelf to bracket.  

I wondered about this, myself, when I purchased these items about three years ago. If you use the correct length of shelf bracket, there is only about a half inch of shelf extending over the outer end of the bracket, which would not lend itself to tipping. However, if you are worried about the shelves moving on the brackets, there is a hole and a slot in each of the longer brackets, which would permit you to insert a screw into the hole and screw it into the shelf.

No, there are no clips. The twin track (wide) shelf brackets do have holes in the bottom that could possibly be used to screw the shelf down. I have not done that myself. The weight of the stuff on the shelves usually keeps them from moving around.

There are holes in the bottom of the bracket and you can screw into the wood to keep it secure.
