Uneven edges
1: the "top" and "bottom" edges are different lengths from the slots
2. Even when you make sure all of the "tops" are together, there are still variations.
Just make sure you level where you are going to drill the holes, not the top of each track. I had to tear it all down, patch and start over because I didn't pay attention...

Good shelf standard at a great length and price
I liked the length of this shelf standard. If you think about it, you don't need to go all the way to the ceiling or all the way to the floor. This standard was just the right length. I installed it 16" off the floor and it was just right
. Saves a few dollars this way. The standard was sturdy and installed easily. I used a laser level to line things up as I did the install and it really sped things up and increased accuracy.

These things are great! Worked well with the hang track, shelf brackets, and shelves that we ordered. We did struggle to find screws that fit in the holes, but that probably had more to do with our inexperience with home projects and the challenges of ordering everything sight-unseen through websites while quarantining during a pandemic. :) We finally got it to work using screws, wall anchors, and washers. These shelves aren't going anywhere.

Go to the store and make sure they match!
So we ordered these online, and were about to install them, when we realized that the holes for the brackets didn't line up the entire length of the track! That would be a HUGE PROBLEM if you want level shelving. So we returned those, but had already purchased Rubbermaid brand everything else did we went back to the store. It took up about 10 minutes of comparing tracks to find 2 of them that were the exact same length and all the bracket holes lined up. Once we found 2 that matched, they're great. Super study, easy to install (don't forget the hardware pack!), And I like them. So just make sure to inspect what you buy IN THE STORE, because you need to make sure your tracks match
