Answersit could be used for that purpose yes. but in my experience cutting grass and what i personally use is a bigger roll off can with a hinged lid because it holds way more clippings

Answersi bought one & store my items in out bldg. lid is tough and tight as long as you connect it firmly (test for locked connection when done). Mice can get in most anywhere but climbing sides might be a challenge not to mention hanging on long enough to access the vents. rats can chew holes in a great many things but it would definitely take them some time. mint oil or garlic can be pretty good deterrents to spray around base of the cans. overall, i would say you should be fairly safe with this choice, as long as you check periodically.

AnswersI have been using the 44 gallon can to hold fire wood and the smaller can i'm using for kindling. Living in Oregon with snow and rain they are pretty much indestructable. Highly recommend this line of cans and the roller dollies.

If you're looking for a cheap storage to keep your half barrel keg cold for a rager look no further. This trash can holds a keg perfectly with 3 22 lb bags of ice. And it will last all night for you to party I wish I could give this six stars but I can't. Extremely heavy duty did not crumble under the heavyweight of the keg or ice. And then if you decide you're partying days are over and you want to grow up and be a little wuss then It will leave you a beautiful trash can which you can remind you of all your good times for years to come.

This worked great. I had a couple of rooms where I was replacing the flooring and needed a larger trash can for the jobsite debris. It worked just as I expected. The lid holds tight and the can is heavy enough to hold a lot of weight without bending. The best part is, I can leave it outside with the lid on and I don’t have to worry about it getting wet of any critters getting into the can.

It's a decent trashcan. Wish it had a lid like my old one. The lid for this trashcan is a bit warped. This causes a problem because it's supposed to snap into place to keep it from flying away. It's smaller than some of the larger trashcans at the store. I prefer this so that I could more easily use some of the cheaper garden trashbags without having to worry if they will cover the whole can. Also, I am not using contractor grade trashbags so I want to keep it light. Overall it does the job. But, hey... It's a trashcan. It holds trash.

I received these containers in 3 days from Home Depot. (Very Quick Shipping) They are sturdy containers that will hold diesel fuel, antifreeze, hydraulic oil, & other lubricants. We use these containers to store fluids while we perform repairs on farm equipment. They are easy to wash out & stack tightly to save room. I ordered these because of the flat lid shown in the picture. They were shipped with a dome shaped lid which I didn't want. The lid still seals tight but if you go to move the container with liquid in it, the domed lid is not as sturdy as the flat lid pictured.
