A: The width of the basket is 24". The depth (front-to-back, at the top from the wall) is 12", but it tapers down to the bottom (I'm guessing about 2", for around 6" total). The height (top-to-bottom of the basket) is 8.5". Add on another 6" top-to-bottom for the two attachment brackets (overall height would then be 14.5"). I have been extremely pleased with this item - it's is well constructed (think of a metal gauge somewhere between a grocery store shopping cart and the old-type metal rack/basket you would put on the front handlebars of your bicycle as a kid). I use if for the kids sports equipment (ball, gloves, bats, tees, etc.), but I would venture to say it is sturdy enough to hold a car battery, weight-wise. I highly recommend it.

A: Yes, it could, if the horizontal slats are the same width as the Rubbermaid rails that the basket is made for. The two clamps on the basket are not adjustable so the slats have to be the right size.

A: Yes, it comes with brackets, and it's well-constructed. I use them them all the time to store baseball gloves, football, etc. for the kids. Great all-around item to have on your FastTrack system.

Does not work in a level position.

It will not stay on the wall when you put any weight or product in it. It pops off the hooks each time.

The people giving this product a bad review have attached the brackets incorrectly. I had as well until reading the directions.

Cheap gripper

Hi, I just bought the old design to my local store and when I screwed the screw in the gripper as shown on your explanation, the gripper broke in two parts. Very cheap material. Is there a way to get a new gripper? I bought the majority of your fast track system products and this one is really not good.

This is for the Fast Track system as a whole: Relatively easy to install-we needed to attach the rails to wood paneling so finding the studs and best screw attachment points was a little work but not a huge issue. Look great, very flexible - many options-different lengths- hooks, holders, wire baskets (rated as able to hold up to 50 lbs), etc. For our needs and pricing consider a very good value and system. Happy with the choices!
