    A:  Technically yes, but the wired switch will need to always be on for our wireless switch to communicate with the receiver. If that doesn't work for you but you'd like a 3-way setup I'd suggest purchasing a 3-way kit that will work a little more simply.

      Q:replacing our tub and making it a tub/shower this puts my light switch in the way. If I put the receiver in the switch box and cover it with the new shower walls will the receiver ever need to be maintenance?

      A:  The likelihood of a receiver needing maintenance is low, since they're engineered for 20+ years of use in commercial settings, but not impossible. It may make more sense to install at a fixture or circuit breaker.

        Installed this since I changed the way a door swung into a room and new switch spot was solid 2x4s. I’ve had no issues from it, been installed for at least 5 years now. Sometimes you have to hit the switch twice but not very often.

          A very easy and simple way for a DIY project. Amazing and well worth the price of switch. No batteries ever to change. Complete confidence in product. Electrician would have been 1200 just to run a switch to where I needed it. Well 150 seems cheap plus a bonus of did it myself.
