after 1 year - I'll have to buy a new bathroom!
we had a beautiful white painted over tan tile on our floor and shower. It has been almost 1 yr - shower looks like rust and mold.We could have lived with tan but now us seniors will have to pay for complete renovation and redo the tile! wouldn't load jpg

Thank you for reaching out, Beverly. While the Rust-Oleum Home Floor Coating System can be used on tile floors, we do not recommend it for use in showers due to the constant exposure to water and high humidity. This product also does not contain mold or rust inhibitors.

Transformed kitchen- yup I did that
Tan tile to this! Three colors ultra white, sea foam and owl grey created this masterpiece along with a stencil. Matte top coat.
Tip for stencils- less is more with your paint. Offload your paint brush or the paint with bleed under the stencil!

Very Happy With Results
I used the Vanilla Milkshake color, I figured it would be a neutral color. Next to white, it does have a light grey look to it. I expected that after reading other reviews where people mentioned a grey undertone in some of their colors too. Other times, depending on the light it looks like a cream color. One coat of base and one of the top coat covered the olive green tile. I would definitely recommend doing this.

Love it!
I used 1 quart on my bathroom walls yesterday and it was so easy.
We chose vanilla milkshake because it looked like a light cream color, but it ended up being a little closer to gray so keep that in mind if you’re looking for color! Still love it though!

easy and cheap floor makeover
removed vinyl wood flooring. spent most of my time on prep. cleaned floor and rinsed over and over until rag/bucket water clean. used floor fan to help speed up the in between steps. applied one coat, then the next 1 hour later. 6hrs later I applied top coat, done.

If you’re doing white…
If you’re doing white… The first thing I want to say is one coat will not cover definitely I would end up getting the gallon of white two coats is good but three is even it took a lot of work to do my Mexican tiles but they ended up looking terrific and they’re holding up super well. I decided to paint my dark gray walls pure white and then do white floors I’ve hated these tiles for the last 10 years since I moved into this house so it was time to do something make sure you clean it really well no matter how many times you try to put the topcoat on without any specks of dust or sediment it will be there just take a rag with you and tap it and it comes right off the biggest thing is white is very hard to get even but once it’s on it seems like it’s going to stay forever

The matte top coat looks weird
I like how matte top coat looks, but when I open it, it looks super weird, no matter how many times that you mixed then, it still didnt dissolve all the way, from the picture you can see some of them floating stuff and huge stuff at the bottom

Easy, inexpensive, and beautiful way to update wood floor
This was a nice kit. Super easy to use, the box told you everything you would need, and the finished product looks really nice. No sanding needed! The floor I was doing was small enough that one kit did the trick and I was able to do it in one day. Good coverage and the top coat feels nice and smooth. Highly satisfied!
