Very satisfied
This gliter paint was really good. Note, it is thick, but this was not difficult to work with. Suggested application was 3 to 4 coats (for full coverage glitter wall). Since i only wanted a "hint" of glitter, i assumed 1 coat would be what I'd want. The wall was a fairly rough texture. Used paint roller. Where roller touched wall, glitter sat. Does not spread/blend out. This required some getting used to the medium. Diacovered thinning 1 to 1 glitter paint to water, gave me a much more workable solution, for what i wanted. Over all, extremely pleased. 4 stars is really for getting attention, there's a learning curve to figure out when working with this excellent product.

I used this paint on one wall in my closed, and it looks STUNNING! I only put on two coats, and it's perfect. I painted the wall a very light gray then let it dry for a week, then rolled this glitter paint on top of the gray and it's sooooo pretty. It looks perfect along with my raindrop chandelier.

Rust-oleum iridescent glitter paint
I was so excited to do an accent wall in my daughters room with this paint...however it turned out AWEFUL! No matter what I used to apply it (a roller or a brush) you constantly see streaks and the glitter is NOT even, some spots were super thick and others very thin...the paint itself is almost like a glue! Unless your doing a small project that has smooth surfaces i would not recommend using on walls! See picture! Waste of time and money! Hopefully i can get refunded!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Stephenie. Rust-Oleum Specialty Glitter Wall Paint is recommended to be recoated every 2 to 4 hours to ensure proper drying. For the best coverage, it is important to brush/roll in every direction and apply several coats to build up the desired glitter coverage. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5 Rustoleum

This is 3 coats of the clear glitter over a pink wall. I love how sparkly it is and how easy it was to roll on. The only con is it's really hard to see the glitter when your initially rolling it on so if you paint over the same area it will have more glitter localized in that spot and there is no way of spreading it out once its rolled over. I almost wish I would have just rolled on one coat. There was a lot of glitter with the first coat and it was more evenly spread out. The more coats you put on the more it seems to have more in certain areas than others. All in all I love how it turned out and its definitely the easiest/least messy way to accomplish a glitter wall.

This paint is amazing. I did have to do two coats, but the sparkle was worth it! I first painted my project a light teal color and put this over it. So beautiful! The photo does not do it justice!

This is a pretty unique finish! Not like paint so much as a translucent base with glitter. Plan on multiple coats to get good depth on a light background, though it’s more visible on a dark color. When using on a wall, make sure it is well-lit, or the glitter may hardly be noticeable. I tested on a wall with a pale sage base color, and on a black craft box. Both turned out pretty well. Only caution is that whatever sink you clean your brush in will have glitter in it for a long time.

Rustoleum 1 qt. Iridescent Clear Glitter Interior Paint (2-Pack) Very important to follow the instructions when using this latex based final coat. This paint can be applied over any painted surface and has an unbelievable beautiful finish. Since this is a final top coat it can be applied over any color base paint. Application process is with a standard 9.5-inch nap roller or this can also be sprayed. When applying with a roller two coats are typically needed. Make sure you apply a consistent amount of paint in a W pattern. After applying paint do not re coat until the previous application has thoroughly dried. Typically, two to four hours depending on temperature and humidity levels. Make sure you check the wall for dryness before applying the second coat. I use my hands and feel the wall. If the wall is not completely dry you could risk having the previous coat lift. Clean up is simple just use water and soap. Dish soap works well with warm water. Stir the paint well and only pour in enough paint for the first coat or area to be painted. It should not be shaken as this causes bubbles and it the temperature is too hot the paint will not have enough time to settle down. Great for highlighting niches, coves or other areas you would just like to add special accents.

I really like this iridescentclear glitter paint! Because it’s clear it allows the image underneath to come through which is really a nice feature. I know most people would use this paint on their walls but I do acrylic abstract pours and love mixing it with other colors. It gives a nice soft glittery look to each piece I do. I also got the gold paint it too performed very well. Thanks

This paint is loads of fun! I used a brush, but I believe a small roller would be better. The glitter in this paint is 95% blue-green, I wish it had been more multi color, still pretty though and I can always add fine glitter of my own choice of colors. It is easier than I thought it would be to spread the glitter around on the surface. Has a gloss finish, not quite a "high gloss", but definitely shiny. Was extremely easy to clean the brush after use. Con: Has a harsh odor once a larger area is painted. It is strong enough to give me a headache. When I use it again I will have windows open, if painting a large surface, windows open and box fan running. The odor is harsh however, the odor does not "travel" through the house. Picture of dresser is one thin coat. Also it has much more sparkle than camera picked up. Highly recommend this fun paint!
