15 oz. LeakSeal Black Flexible Rubber Coating Spray Paint (6-Pack)

The application of this rubber material is pretty easy. It goes on like a spray paint but has a tendency to run in a vertical position. I did a roof penetration that was made of sheet metal and wanted to "paint" the entire thing with this stuff and it looked really good when I was done. I paid particular attention to the corner seams and that's where if I laid too much on or spent a little more time on the first pass it would run a little. So I started making quicker and lighter passes and let it dry a bit before reapplying. All in all it worked great as a sealant and a spruced up the old galvanized metal protrusion.

This product was used to seal our paper mache masks for Halloween. It took two coats to cover everything but it looks awesome and worked well as a base coat, and accepted a colored top coat well. I used this for the inside and outside.

Used leakseal spray two weeks ago on my fountain and it is still holding water. Easy to use!

Rust-oleum offers a flexible rubber coating in a spray on can. This seals cracks and leaks on a variety of products including concrete providing a water tight and flexible seal. Be sure to read instructions to prepar surfaces correctly. Used the seal product on concrete around pool and skimmer cover. Easier and cheaper than replacing the concrete. Cures to touch in 2 hours and complete cure is around 24 hours. Comes in a variety of colors.

I was looking for a QUICK, but semi-permanent fix for a few gutter leaks where they intersect at an angle. The interior of the gutter is very difficult (nearly impossible) to access because porch screening is affixed to the upper inside lip of the gutter, so I was hoping that an exterior rubberized coating would fix the leak. My gutters are white, so I figured this product would blend well (which it did). I applied it to a dry surface, with outdoor temperatures in the upper 70’s. I allowed 45 minutes between a first and second coat, and it did not rain for at least 24 hours after the final application. I applied the product from a distance of about 8” – 10” to try to avoid over spray onto nearby screening. After waiting 48 hours, I gave it a “leak test” with the garden hose pouring water into my gutter, and there were still a few drips coming from the location where the gutters meet. Perhaps I will get better results after applying yet another (third) coating, but right now, I’m reluctant to vouch that this product will do what it says after applying 2 coats. I caution users to be aware that the way this spray applies, bears little resemblance to that of most regular paint sprays (similarly packaged in an aerosol container) – the contents left a watery drip on the surface (although it does dry to a semi-smooth coating) and the nozzle also “spit” contents in small gobs, in almost every direction (even back into my face and hair). Don’t be lulled into complacency, even for a small touch-up. If there is anything nearby that could be defaced, strongly consider covering or masking the location, and dress accordingly (hat, rubber gloves, etc.). This is not a water-based product, so clean-up could be tedious (or in the case of fabrics, possibly ruin them). I would have been more accepting of the messy application process, if the sealer had worked more effectively with the initial two coat application.

I used the leakseal on a commercial roof that other contractors tried to repair.It worked great.

I use LockSeal Black Spray on the speaker cabinets I use in my PA and Monitor systems. It gives the cabinets a professional finish and protects them against minor bumps and scratches. I first paint the cabinets with two coats of black high gloss oil base paint, then three or four coats of LealSeal Black spray, I'll then spray on three or four coats of an oil based polyurethane to add a shine or luster and it makes it easier to clean... I just wish this product was cheaper... Thanks
