Happy to help, Dorthy! The Rust-Oleum Spray Grip Accessory will work with most other aerosol cans. The compatability will be dependent on the size of the nozzle and valve of the can. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 3
Happy to help, Aaron. Yes, our Rust-Oleum Economy Spray Grip can be used with our Turbo Spray Cans. -Rust-Oleum Product Support 14
Thanks for reaching out. All Rust-Oleum spray grips, including Rust-Oleum Economy Spray Grip Accessory, fit the same cans. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 6
I have not used it for shellac but it stays on regular spray cans great.
I have never used spray shellac, so I can’t be sure. All I know is it works with the spray paint I have used.
I used it with a Krylon and Montana can and it worked just fine. In fact, it worked better than with the Rust-Oleum enamel spray.
Yes if the brand has a standard nozzle wear the paint come out of.
Yes Love love it. Makes using spray paint a breeze.
We appreciate your interest, Monica! Yes, Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Spray Grip is suitable for use with more aerosol cans. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 3
Yes, it fit on all the cans that I used!
Home depot sells paint specifically designed for glass and I would recommend that you search the website for that. While you could realistically paint glass with outdoor paint, I would be concerned about long-term adhesion.
We are here to help, Rose! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Economy Spray Grip Accessory can be used with most standard spray paints. If looking to spray wicker, you will want to ensure that that paint will adhere to that type of surface, we recommend Rust-Oleum Universal Spray Paint and Primer in One! https://www.homedepot.com/s/rust%2520oleum%2520universal%2520spray%2520paint?NCNI-5 - Rust-Oleum Product Support 3
Absolutely, Ellie! Rust-Oleum Spray Grip's easy slide-on grip fits most spray cans. Meaning you can use this grip over and over with different colors!
Since the nozzle is removable, you should be able to transfer it from one color can to another. If your concern is bleeding of other colors when sprayed, I would suggest cleaning off any old paint with a cleaner. If the old paint is dry, I would imagine their is no danger of another color mixing with the current can it is being used on.
Yes! The paint doesn’t travel through any type of nozzle. I’d still clean in between uses.
Short Answer- Yes. Long Answer, yes- but make sure if the front by the nozzle is covered in another paint that you clean it. I've found that clean up is minimal but easy if you clean after each use with an old rag or paper towel while the paint is wet. Once the paint is dry it may not be an issue but I would hate for dry specks to chip off while painting in another color and ruin the finish.
Happy to help! To use Rust-Oleum Economy Spray Grip you’ll want to do the following: Point nozzle of the spray can away from you, grasp Spray Grip from the top and slide onto valve rim. You’ll then aim the can and pull the trigger to begin spraying. To remove, slide Spray Grip backward off of valve rim.
This item just slides on the can from the back end and pops into place around the collar of the can. Make sure the nozzle is pointing the way you want it to.
