why is it called a "finger joint" board?
Fingerjoint materials are joined end to end with narrow v joints to the thickness of the board. Creating a stonger glue joint. The image of multie fingers inter joined.
What is the actual thickness? Nominal 1" lumber is typically 3/4" thick and the specifications for this board list the thickness as 0.75". But the product name explicitly states that the actual thickness is 0.625" (5/8"). Which is correct?

I have the worst experience with Home Depots site, useful is often missing. This product is available in both pressure treated and untreated. WHICH IS IT?????
