An affordable, easy-to-install way to improve the security of your home, this two-pack of Sabre wireless alarms can be used on both doors and windows.
The unit is small but mighty, emitting an ear-splitting 120 dB alarm when an intruder opens your door or window-- enough to get anyone's attention in your neighborhood... and loud enough to scare off any thief.
The alarm and magnetic trigger strip each come with a strong adhesived backing-- once positioned and affixed, these units definitely stay put permanently, regardless of how often or how hard your door or window is closed.
You simply remove the lower cover of the alarm unit to set your alarm to off, on, chime (for everday use) or alarm (for nightime, or when you are away.) There's also a handy test button to ensure your battery has plenty of power if activated-- handy!
I particularly appreciate that the magnetic trigger strip portion is narrow enough to be affixed to the reveal part of your door entry, for a nice, flush install and clean look.
Modestly priced, I plan to pick up a few more packs for around the house for added security. Nice product!

SABRE Home Series HS-DWA2 Review -- GOOD: (1) Very small 'form factor' (size) makes it easier to mount and less obtrusive in appearance (see photo of item mounted on double-hung window frame with magnetic actuator on the lower sash; (2) Easy to install with self-adhesive tape provided; (3) Price is reasonable for the 2-pack; (4) Loud enough (not as loud as a smoke detector, but then this device is so tiny in comparison) ___ BAD: (1) the sliding white plastic cover over the battery, switch compartment has a tendency to warp in the middle causing the little tang that holds the cover to have less engagement with the housing that, over time, may cause the little cover to fall off ___ COULD USE IMPROVEMENT: maybe thicker plastic for the sliding cover would help prevent warpage: (2) the symbols inside next to the tiny slide switch are difficult to see (I used a marker to put a RED 'dot' next to the switch position for "Alarm" so it's easy to know what the setting is) > See Photo

This package of two alarm units comes fully equipped with 4 LR44 alkaline batteries in each unit. Each unit is easily set by removing the battery case. You can set it to chime, alarm or off with a toggle switch inside the case. They are easily installed to door or window with adhesive pads (included). The chime is loud enough to let you know when friends or family enter the home. The alarm (siren) is enough to wake you from a deep sleep!!

These are great little gadgets and so easy to install. You put one piece on the frame and the other either on a door or window. When the two parts of the alarm are no longer in contact with each other either an alarm or a chime will go off (based on how you set it up). The alarm itself is pretty loud. I'm not sure if it would replace a good security system if that's what you're looking for but works well to let you know if a door or window has been opened, when in a different part of the house. And as an extra bonus this packaging was really easy to open.

This Sabre Wireless Door and Window Alarm (2-Pack) is the perfect solution for guarding the pool area doors. I grabbed these as soon as I could to protect my little loved ones from getting out to the pool area alone. If either door is opened they sound a very loud alarm so I wont have any accidents. They take about 2 minutes to install and are extremely affordable. The plus side is they also protect from anyone trying to get in.

Sabre Wireless Alarm
Bought these, returned them. The company that manufactures them should change the design a bit. It is very inconvenient to have to remove the cover to arm or shut off.
Other alarms thankfully have switch on the side, I will continue to buy those.
I wouldn't recommend just because of the inconvenience of having no switch on the outside.
