This product does its job.
This product was shipped in a big box with a lot of broken styrofoam. The desk had some dings and chips in it, but it was easy to assemble and had an overall nice look. The knobs needed to be tightened and the unseen, inner parts seemed very "raw" (unsanded and semi-painted), but once everything is put together, it looks MUCH more refined. The drawers do not fit perfectly, but I guess this is because the entire unit seems to be "hand-crafted"--some may like that characteristic. I am overall happy with this product, but do worry that the lip will break off one day. It has a little bend to it now because I tend to rest my elbows on it, but I don't necessarily feel like it will break soon. As you use the extended desk top, you will find paint chips in your lap and on the ground from the painted hinges. The main reason why I bought this desk was because of the small space we had available. It certainly wasn't my first choice in a desk, but you will not find a better one at this size. After receiving the product, though, I feel like I spent far too much for it.

Attractive and fairly well made.
The red is barn red with medium oak top surfaces. Packed well, just put legs on(remove all drawers 1st). Light weight but sturdy enough hold a small laptop in large drawer, however no track just 2 metal stoppers in back. Would have given 5 stars if large drawer was sturdier.

This is a nice desk!
This desk is very nice looking, sturdy, small but functional. Great for organizing desk supplies. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Of note: 1) the six small top drawers can pull all the way out, there are no stops. 2) the hinged portion of the desk, if opened out, will not support much weight. Enough to support writing, but not enough to place heavy objects.
