Right size and price point was ok. Happy with purchase. You can spend more to get better quality...
Right size and price point was ok. Happy with purchase. You can spend more to get better quality but this fit my expectations
I picked it up at store so I could inspect it before I left.
I expect it to need care in use as to not place water or heavy objects on it as it is very soft mfg wood construction.

everything was great up until the part...
everything was great up until the part where I couldn't get the carpet padding I wanted because the installers supposedly wouldn't install the 8lb, 7/16 future foam padding. I had to settle forthe nike step ahead that I don't really care for, but it seemed to be the better option out of thefew mediocre options that were available. I didn't want any of them, but I had no choice. you shouldn't bother advertising merchandise that you don't install.

Although the Safavieh Michael Black and Oak Storage Console Table...
Although the Safavieh Michael Black and Oak Storage Console Table looks as nice as the photo, I give it four stars since there is a dime-sized chunk of the wood (either damage at factory or pre-shipment?) at the top edge of the table that was touched up with a different shade of wood filler (orange-brown) before we received it. The shelf is not suitable for any heavy objects, e.g. books, as it would require more support. The quality is decent, but the price should be less. I will keep this table, as it looks nice in my foyer but would recommend you shop for a lower price.

Excellent Product - Easy Assembly
This table looked better than expected. Great quality. Assembly was a breeze. Always wondered why other box furniture wasn't partially assembled and I just put the big pieces together (instead of every single piece unassembled). This is exactly the approach with this piece. Excellent all the way around. Great size and storage capability.

Perfect for the space
I've been searching for a table for the front hall and this has the perfect dimensions plus 3 big drawers and a bottom shelf for storage baskets. I love it.
