Can this runner be used on stairs with rug tacks, or is it too thick? Since our stairs are longer than 8 feet, if we buy two rugs can it be cut to accommodate length and a landing without unraveling or ruining the entire rug? Thanks.

What do you mean by "professionally clean'? Will a home carpet shampooer clean without damaging the carpet?

Are the colors gold and teal (blue-greeen) or a mix of gold with green AND teal?
