yes, very.
What size is the fitting on the hose to the torch?
The hose included is equipped with a 9/16- 18 left-handed thread connection fitting that mates with the brass valve of the torch and an excess flow soft nose POL fitting that mates to your bulk (refillable) cylinder. Thread the 9/16- 18 left-handed hose end onto the torch valve in a counterclockwise direction, tightening it with an 11/16” wrench until it is properly seated. Thread the excess flow soft nose POL hose end into the cylinder in a counterclockwise rotation, tightening it with a 7/8” wrench until properly seated. Do not over tighten fittings. Do not place undue strain on hose. Slowly open the propane cylinder valve and then slowly open the torch valve.
Can this torch be connected to a one pound propane tank? Does it require a 20 lb. tank?
Requires a 20 lb tank.
Only the larger refillable tanks like a 20#. it does not have a connection for the disposable cylinders of fuel.
