Seems sturdy, but instructions missing

This lock box is intended to be wall-mounted. It seems sturdy enough and I appreciate the security of the 4-number code. However, I have run into some difficulty with instructions. There were not any included and the QR code on the packaging put me in a loop, so I am still waiting for support to email me instructions to customize my code. I’m optimistic it will be a great product once I can get that sorted!

Versatile and sturdy

The squire at work key keep one lock arrived, sealed in a plastic package. The instructions were included and are very straightforward and simple. When you open up the lockbox, there is a switch inside that allows you to reset the combination with ease. After setting my own combination, I tested the security of the box. It stays locked without any type of movement until you enter your preferred combination, then it opens very easily. The dials spin freely, but not too loose. There’s a weatherproof door which covers the numbers when the lock is not in use. It is intended to be mounted to an object with included screws and anchors. I am using it to keep my backflow cover in my front yard, accessible to the utilities, by providing them the code to the box so they can open the cage and inspect the backflow. This Lockbox makes it easy for me to stay in compliance with my local utility by granting them unhindered access to their equipment, while still protecting it from theft. I am very impressed with this item. It comes ready to do the work and easy to install.

Solid and secure lock box to keep for emergency access to a physical key!

We have a smart home with all smart locks but there are occasions where the network is down, the batteries have gone dead or we just need a neighbor to get in and check on things when we are out of town. This lock box will solve the problem by keeping a spare physical key on the property for us or anyone we might need to have check on things. When you open the package the lock box may not open to set your code. Don’t panic just set all the numbers to 0000 and you will be able to open it. Included are screws and anchors for any location you decide on. We are going to place this out of sight from the main road or walkway. Once you open the lock box, simply move the reset lever to the reset position, set your personal code then move the lever back, that’s it! I would recommend doing this before you install as it’s easier to see what you are doing, also test it a few times. The box needs to be open to mount it so if you have trouble, this will avoid and unwanted installation stress. Depending on where you install it 2 screws will probably do the trick, but you can do more if you feel it’s better. Also, would recommend longer screws than what’s included if you really want to secure it! I would recommend this Lock Box!

Solid combination lock once installed

This key lock box is well built and feels very solid once installed. The combination is easy to set and change, and the four-wheel lock gives plenty of possible code combinations for added security. I like that it's weather resistant, so I don't have to worry about leaving it outdoors year-round. It's the perfect size for holding spare house keys and has been a great solution for family members, contractors, or emergency access. Installation was straightforward, and everything worked exactly as expected. Overall, this is a high-quality, dependable key safe that offers great value for the price. I would definitely recommend it.

Easy to program lock box. It's very strong and should last a long time.

This Squire @Work lock box is a safe place for my outside house key. I put it in my shed for easy access. It has to be mounted at face level so I can see the combination numbers. The box is well-made and secures to the wall with four screws (provided). Setting the combination is pretty easy. There is a lever inside that moves to the left, letting me set the combination. Once set, I move it back to the right, and the new combination is set. There is a spring inside that opens the lid when I press down on the front latch; then the door pops open when I push on the latch. Once, this spring came out, and the door didn’t pop open. I just had to reinsert the spring in its clip. One improvement would be to machine two small holes in the spring holder so the spring ends would click into them, keeping the spring in place. All in all, I find this key box to work fine. This is my second one because the first one did not let me program the new combination. The little slide toggle was stuck. I emailed support to confirm the internal malfunction. They sent another one, which worked fine. I’m very pleased with the customer service and this handy lock box.

Easy installation and set up

I used a small level to make sure that the key box was installed square. Screws and anchors (if needed).Since I installed the key box into a wooden backboard I did not need to use the enclosed anchors. The lock box allows you to set your own four-digit combination. The four digit code on the key box was very easy to change to my preferred numbers. The instructions were clear, concise, and easy to follow

A great hide-a-key.

I got this because my Father-in-law has one mounted to the back of his shed on his property. This made it so easy to stay in his camper over Memorial Day weekend without worrying about loosing keys. The lockbox that was delivered was even better. It comes with mounting screws or a removable loop to hang on a chain or door handle. The handle removes with a second clip, so there is no worry that it will fall out of your hands when opening. The box also lets you set your own combination number, or leave unlocked, but still look locked.

This combination lock box is great to secure emergency keys for your home or shed. With burglaries on the rise, placing keys under your doormat is very unsafe. Easy to set combo

Easy instructions , able to set combo on fist try. Came with mounting screws and anchors. Tested it in the rain , it doesn’t get wet much on the inside. I wanted to do a smash test to see how much damage it can take but didn’t, interested to know if it can hold up to thieves nowadays using hammers to get access but I guess we’ll find out the hard way.

Strong Lockbox

This Combination lockbox is designed as a permanent style enclosure. You cannot hang it on a doorknob for temporary use to provide access. This box is made super strong with the combination enclosed under a sliding door. The key code is easily changed inside the box with the simple engaging of the "reset" arm. It is clearly marked on the inside. The box is mounted once you open the door with the provided anchors and screws. I do not recommend using anchors but rather screwing into a stud to provide added security to the box so it is not easily ripped off the wall. Overall it has a nice finish and looks great against the home.
