BAMFF 10.0 - 1000 Lumens Rechargeable Dual LED Flashlight with Mounting Kit and Remote

I ordered this flashlight because of the bright light and the power versatility. First off, the construction is solid with O-ring seals for the battery closures. The light uses two LEDs to provide a bright, focused light that is surrounded by a halo to widen the field of vision that’s being illuminated. I really like being able to power this from the rechargeable battery, or either non-rechargeable AAA alkalines or a CR123 lithium battery. While the rechargeable battery is being charged outside of the flashlight with a micro USB charger, you can still use the flashlight with a shorter runtime. If you’re really careful, you can adjust the light mode (flash or intensity). Mode select seems to work better with the remote pressure switch. The instructions say to change mode by lightly depressing the tail switch button “no click”. It’s a metal dome switch, it either clicks or it doesn’t. They got a quality point deduction for this. Overall an excellent light.

This flashlight is a duel purpose flashlight it can be used as a handheld light or it can be mounted to the barrel of a rifle. The functions are the same in either case. When used as a handheld it has a handy belt clip for carrying. This flashlight at 1000 Lumens is very powerful. It has dual LED beams a spotlight and a wide-angle floodlight. These beams can be used separately, or they can be used both at the same time to increase your overall visibility. This flashlight has 5 modes of operation: Spot/Flood High, Spot/Flood Medium, Spot/Flood Low, Strobe and SOS. This light comes with a rechargeable 18650 battery that has a built-in charging port but the light can also be powered by three AAA batteries. This is a very well-built sturdy flashlight that should provide years of great service.

For its size this is the brightest LED flashlight I have ever seen. I also liked the fact it is rechargeable (Li-ion battery) via a USB port and includes a AAA battery cartridge for backup purposes. The USB port is on the battery itself so it has to be removed from the flashlight before it can be charged which is a little inconvenient especially if you are on the road. Micro USB cable not included. Although the flashlight supports a variety of modes the instructions for this model are incorrect. You do not "half press" the switch to change modes but press the switch on and off. A gun mount adapter and remote pressure switch are also included but I won't use those very often if at all.

STKR BAMFF 10.0 - 1000 Lumens Rechargeable Dual LED Flashlight with Mounting Kit and Remote is primarily a rifle mount light. It comes with accessories to mount on a rifle barrel. It also can be be used as a handheld light. The flashlight has two lights combined, a floodlight and a spot light. It is connected to the rifle with a mount and has a control wire that goes into the back of the light where the switch button is located. The other end is a wire and switch that goes back along the rifle with the wire switch controlled by the shooter to locate the target by using different light intensity modes: - spotlight / floodlight on high - spotlight/floodlight on medium - spotlight/floodlight on low - Strobe light - SOS light For use as a standalone flashlight, the rifle mount and wire are removed and replaced with a standard end cap that has a light select switch. The back end unscrews like a standard flashlight to reveal the battery compartment. The flashlight comes with two power sources, a lithium-ion rechargeable battery and a battery pack holding three AAA batteries (batteries not included). If the rechargeable battery gets low it can be easily replaced with the battery pack. The Ion-lithium battery is recharged with a wire that uses a small USB plug end and is not included, but widely available. The flashlight in this configuration comes with a belt hook. The flashlight has a rugged aluminum body, well done all around. I didn't like the switch that changes light mode, found it awkward. You can't lock a particular mode and you have to cycle through them all if you want any other than the spotlight / floodlight on high mode. The two lights (spot and floodlight) are always on when operating. The plus side these are bright lights, the 1000 lumens does the job. In strobe it can blind someone momentarily. As an SOS light or Strobe it is a powerful package that can be seen at a distance. Using it as an accessory mounted to a rifle barrel is its primary use and secondarily, is a handheld flashlight that can be used in the field or for other uses.

This Striker B.A.M.F.F. 10.0 flashlight is unique featuring dual LED lights that can be used simultaneously. I like the broad beam along with the spotlight, it makes trips down to the barn before daylight much easier. It includes a gun mount kit for use on a firearm. The battery is a rechargeable 18650 and included is an adapter to use 3 AAA batteries also. Striker also includes a second tailcap with a remote switch for firearm mounted operation. A removable belt clip is included also. The battery must be removed to charge, but that's no big issue for me. Overall it's a well made tough light. I'm very satisfied.

Ok, here goes. First, I don't know WHO to blame because I received my flashlight OPENED! When I opened the packaging in which it was shipped to my local store, everything just... fell out of the box! No plastic wrapping, no blister packaging, and for a flashlight of THIS price I'd have expected better! Second, some of it's components CLEARLY have been used! I didn't pay for a USED product! Third, I am not sure if the unit is actually putting out 1000 lumens, as stated. 300... maybe 400 at best! Overall, it's not bad. Just not worth the price. And the only reason I am not going to return it for a refund is because I really need it, and, for what it's (not) worth, it suits my needs at this time. Still, I cannot recommend this unit, as there is better out there. Sorry. Maybe a little Q.A./Q.C. next time?
