Product Details

Protect and beautify your foundation insulation or ICF, (Insulated Concrete Forms), by applying Tuff II 80 SF 5 Gal. Foundation Coating. The coating protects the rigid foam insulation board or ICF from U.V. exposure and physical damage. The coating can also be used to create attractive stucco like finishes on concrete, brick or masonry walls or to finish drywall without the hassle of mudding. The coating also helps control moisture.

A:  It should, I used it on foam board insulation and it's been holding up great. It's at least been 2 years and no chips or cracks. Make sure the area is scuffed up and use the sticky mesh for it to adhear to.

    A:  I'm answering my own question, because I couldn't wait for someone else to answer it before using it. We covered the basement walls in Tuff II and then painted over it with regular wall paint.

      This product was great: easy to apply and dried quickly....
      This product was great: easy to apply and dried quickly. I used this to reface a painted brick fireplace. No primer needed, just wire brushing and a wipe down. After filling the grout lines, I only needed one coat. I painted over the reface with a latex paint. The product gives a nice modern look.

      Make sure you have a drop cloth because it will make a mess ----- apply a little at a time and some will still drop from the surface you are working. Looks great when you are done.
