Good multi-purpose apron
I ordered this because i thought it would useful for alot of things that I do around the house. We all have "work" clothes that we use for painting, working on the car, etc, but it still never hurts to use something that can protect them. I used this most recently when spray painting a couple of cabinets and changing the air suspension compressor on my truck. I think it comes in handy for numerous projects. Its large enough for taller people and will probably need to be clipped at the bottom if you are of shorter stature. Mine only came with three straps and not the four shown on the picture, but that wasnt really a big deal since i had rope that i could use instead. I didnt really like the straps anyway. They are kind of flimsy and not easy to untie. Other than that, this is a decent product and I would buy it again.

Great for the DIY'er
I got this PVC Apron for use with my wet saw. I am always cutting tile during cool weather and the front of me gets soaked. This PVC apron from Safe Handler should help me stay dry. Advertised as a 1 Time Use Apron, I plan on getting multiple opportunities to wear this apron. The PVS is about the thickness of a pool toy and smells the same when removed from the bag. 2 Cloth Shoestrings are included to tie around your neck and back to secure the apron. The grommet holes have reinforced plastic to insure the apron doesn't tear easily. I'm happy with this apron.

It does what it should, nothing fancy
So, my wife likes to polish and shape rocks and she has several waterproof aprons. Of the three, this is her least favorite. Not really anything wrong with it, but the quality in comparison seems a bit low. The price seems a bit high for what you get. It really is just a nearly rectangular shaped piece of low/medium weight PVC with 4 grommet holes. The apron strings are literally shoe laces that you put through the grommets and tie off. Again, it works and does what it should, but her other aprons are made of a heavier weight material and the apron "strings" are PVC and are welded and reinforced to the apron itself. And they cost a few dollars less.

It gets the job done, but I wouldn't buy this for home use.
This PVC apron certainly gets the job done, but I would not buy this for home use. It's made for more of an industrial use, but they used shoe laces to tie it. That was a surprise. You basically have three or four shoe laces to work with and it does work, you can make a loop with the ones at the top, so that it can go around the bottom of your neck when you put the apron on and the two on each side can tie together. I tried it out and it worked and all, and I'm 5' 10", but it just isn't for home use. I just smoked the 10lb first cut without it and didn't make a mess, although it was a challenge! I guess people in industry would buy this, but I don't see why home depot needs to sell such an item, but if you need cheap and easy protection from the meats, this certainly would work. If you like the industrial PVC approach, go for it. But most people probably go with cotton or some other material with a design for home use.

Great features

Serves Its Purpose
This apron could easily be used for many, many things, but it's not anything special. Basically, it's just big piece of PVC plastic with three shoe laces. The edges are not hemmed and the cuts are bit ragged. My primary intention was to use it when bathing my dog to keep me from getting soaked, and for that I feel it will work just fine. The plastic is fairly thick and seems to be quite sturdy, and the holes for the ties are reinforced so it will likely hold up for a long time.

Great Waterproof PVC Apron
The Safe Handler 43.3 in. x 34 in. Black Adjustable Waterproof Material PVC Apron Smooth Finish to Prevent Bacterial Growth (1-Pack) does the job so well. The apron can be used with so many projects. Baking, food preparation, cleaning and outside projects. The apron has a smooth finish to prevent bacterial growth. I do recommend this apron for around the kitchen besides other uses.

Love the fabric but dislike the fasten process
I really like the fabric as it has so many uses for a homeowner. Wear it while cooking as it is extremely easy to clean. The fabric is durable and very slick, so most things just wipe right off. At worst just take some dish soap to clean it off. This Apron by Bison-Life is good to Food Handling (apron is food safety compliant, Painting, working with residential chemicals, etc. I did not care for the way the Apron is worn by using woven ties. I have to believe there is a better method where the ties are permanently attached or attached in a way that does not require tying knots in the woven ties.

It’s good!
This PVC apron arrived in a plastic bag and excellent condition. I measured it at roughly 3.5’ x 3’ in size. There are three woven ties/shoelaces included with the apron. Being that there aren’t instructions, I thought it made sense to use one lace for making a loop around the top, and attach to the two grommet holes. There are also two lateral grommets, so I used one at each there. I don’t feel that this design is very robust. It’s a bit thin, and I’m concerned that it may not survive much normal wear and tear.

Good protection for your clothes when working with products you care not to get all over you.
I was intending on using the PVC apron while applying pain and stain to wood working, and I’m sure that will eventually happen, but I ended up using the 43.3 in. x 34 in apron to product our clothes during wood cutting. Let me explain – whenever I cut wood with a chainsaw, the saw dust or wood clipping as you might call them would get all over my clothing and its unbelievably difficult to get yourself completely clean. So besides the original intention, I offer others as well to justify the use of this one-time use apron. The features mentions that it is food safety compliant and suitable for industrial and healthcare applications, but think outside of the box, like woodworking or pottery. It is apparently approved for food handling by the FDA. The apron comes with three long shoe strings that help with securing the apron around your neck and around your waist, but I really do wish the waist strings were longer so I can tie them around my stomach and not my back – e.g. hospital gowns.
