FibaTape self-adhesive, drywall joint tape saves on both application and dry-time by eliminating the bedding coat required for paper tape installation. Fiberglass mesh is thin and easy to conceal while providing increased crack resistance. Yellow tape is visible until properly coated.

The tape is flexible when applied but once embedded in joint compound it dries strong and hard.
If you are using the tape to repair a damaged wall that is covered with semi-gloss latex paint, we would recommend prepping the surface with a fine grit sand paper prior to applying the tape. Be sure to wipe the surface clean of any dust and debris before applying.
It came out in the late 1980s early 90s . It’s better and more convenient as well.

Hello, I use pre-mixed joint compound all the time with this tape
Using either the hot mud or the pre mixed will work well, but be careful if you use hot mud not to work it too long... if the mud gets stiff and you are still working it, it tends to dislodge the tape
We recommend using an all-purpose, pre-mixed mudd but it is OK to use hot mud as well. If you have additional questions, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-762-6694. Thanks!
If you are using this type of material, we recommend bending the tape to a right angle and the pushing it into the corner securing it to both sides. You can also use Corner Tape which is already bent to a 90 degree angle for easier application.
