What are the requirements for it to be “properly finished”?
Asked by Aryadne April 17, 2020Hello. Thank you for your question. Roseburg recommends the use of a quality primer + two coats of a 100% acrylic latex house paint. All exposed edges should also be painted and be placed at least 6” above the ground. Re-application of paint is required as recommended by the paint manufacturer or more often as necessary to maintain a good seal of the wood. Would this be okay to use as a wainscotting panel again the wall and to be painted to look smooth?
