I give it a 5 stars, because it is easy to install, it's easy to operate, and I can listen good quality music, "or very close to good quality" on HD radio, for a low price.
I got this radio now for about 8 month. Not just that works, but also, I got to see the face of my friends when I show them radio stations with classical music, or Jazz, for the "acoustics" and they are very impressed with the results!!..
For the record: I'm using an old Carver HR-722 receiver preamp/amp, with a pair Polk S60 bookshelf speakers. And I'm happy as a camper..

This was easy to set up and it works great. I got it because I live quite a ways from the nearest station and my car radio (digital) could receive a lot of stations that my home receiver (analog) can't get. This tuner gets those stations with the added bonus that the display shows info about the broadcast (like my car radio) and I can git the multiple versions of some stations (unlike my car radio). I highly recommend this.

Good sound. Good reception. I would subtract 1/2 star if I could for the difficult to read controls (but that is a common problem with most audio gear any more--tiny print and black controls on a black case). Also, having to do a two step process to select a preset is a nuisance (but it's just a one step process on the remote). I bought this to replace the non-HD tuner in my audio system to get the digital sound quality and the sub-channels that are only available in HD. It is entirely satisfactory on both counts, and is a very good value at the price.

Beautiful sound quality, dynamic range, detail and fm reception. I hooked up the HD 20 to my receiver The difference was night and day. For best results, use a good quality audio cable. Also, I tested the tuner on an higher end, integrated amplifier and a good fm antenna. The sound is amazing. This tuner is ideal for midfi and high end amps and antennas. At the price, the tuner is a bargain and great equipment upgrade.

I would highly recommend this product, well worth the investment....
I would highly recommend this product, well worth the investment. When tuned in it sounds excellent. I would also recommend a 12 position antenna with some amplification but not too much, it will block out some distant stations...... you don't want that!
